Skill Tips:

Always lead your q. It takes a second to roll, and then another halfsecond to explode with q. One way to land q is to roll it in advance to an area which someone must pass through (such as the middle of the lane) or take a longer route and get killed, then detonate it if they run onto it.

There are three times in particular that you should use your w. Firstly, when your passive is off cooldown. w heals you without any mana cost. Secondly, before you use your e, so you can land an empowered auto immediately afterwards. Thirdly, when you are being focused. w will reduce the damage being done to you.

e is a great skill for counterjungling. You can easily escape across walls with it. Thus, don't use it to kill jungle monsters. Save it for escaping or initiating. When you gank a lane, make sure that there are no minions in the way, since you will stop short at a minion if you collide with it.

r has many uses. You can knock the enemies away so you can escape, knock them towards you, or disrupt the enemy team for a second because they can't do anything while soaring through the air. Like q, make sure you take into account where your target will be in the half second it takes for the barrel to hit. This may be the difference between knocking their assassin right onto your carry or knocking them away and saving your carry.

Jungle Route:

Start Blue, ask a teammate to ward red if possible. If they do, move onto wraiths, then red. If not, do wolves and then wraiths, and if the enemy jungler has not stolen it, red. It is too risky to contend with only your barrel and drinking skills, which are very impressive nevertheless. Finally, gank one of the two lanes that are closer to you.

How to gank:

For general ganking tips, read an S4 Jungle guide. One important tip I will mention - Always buy a ward when you go back.

Make sure you can hit them with your e when you go in (ie. no minions blocking your way). First use w to get drunk, then body slam them like a hungry Snorlax. Finally, roll a q their way. Guaranteed flash or kill.

Teamfighting:

Use your q to poke whenever possible. You can initiate with your ult. Blow someone from the other team into yours; as long as they don't have a area of effect skill like Amumu or Morgana's ult, its a fair target. If you can push the other champions away so they can't follow up immediately, even better. When the team fight starts, try to q one of their carries and follow up with your hot body slam to stun them. If you are being focused, drink from your barrel with w and Zhonya's if you need to. Keep spamming your skills and auto-attack in-between to activate your Iceborn Gauntlet.
