In this guide i show u why garen fits perfectly into the actual meta and is perfect to carry your solo queue games

in the early game you have to play very agressive, because Garen outscales the most toplane champions there.
In late game its a bit more difficult. you have to be careful and wait for your team to engage fights. If your speedboost isnt enough to reach enemy carries activate your youmus do a flash q and enjoy your one-shot. if possible use your ult when the enemy is silenced so they cant use summoners to escape.

Pros:
-High scalings
-Good early game Pressure
-E applies critical strikes
-High % damage with your R

Cons:
-Only Cc is a silence
-No "real" gapcloser
-Not the best Waveclear
-No range

Try to build a brutalizer before you finish your infinity edge.
If you get 1 or 2 kills in the early game you can buy a sword of occult(its risky but worth if you play safe).
If the enemy stacks a lot of armor u can build a black cleaver or a last whisper

All in all its possible to carry solo queue games, because of the high Dps you got.
Also there is no counterplay which is very nice for you.
