I made this guide to help cho gath newbies. Cho gath is one of the best escailing tanks, he has a lot of sustain in lane with his passive. Also bcs most of the guides are about mid and jungle, i wanted to make a guide about the top that Huni plays in the worlds and a very easy champ when you know him.

Pls be patient and wait bcs I have a lot of exams now. And also need to get a little bit of knowledge in putting this guide look cool. One of this chapters will be a huni game and i highly recommend to read my cooments first and then look at the video or do the both at the same time!

When you get your R, do not save it for a kill, start using it on minions to start stacking it as it gives more health for each stack. Try to R(one shot) the scuttle crab to help your jungler with the vision. When you get to nine stacks try to be in the fight of taking dragon or baron as from 9 stacks it will only stack more with champions and epic monsters.

Righteous glory
Is one of the essential items as it gives you speed when you move towards enemy champions and structures it also slows the champions after the duration comes to its end. But you will mostly be using this to get to the backline, cc him and press r to eat him.
Warmogs armor
It is a really good item for late game and you as a tank wont have to go back to base to recover hp. After you get to 2775 hp, after 6 seconds it gives you back a lot of health.
Randuins omen
Its simply good against heavy ad teams and aslo good for slowing enemy carries with its active.

In the early game there is the first decision you have to make; to take either doran´s ring or doran´s shield. If its a matchup you know you can win take doran ring, and if its an equal matchup take shield and if not sure, take shield. Then if your jungler starts in blue; there are 2 types of junglers carries and taanks. If he is a tank dont bother to take damage but if he is an assasin (rengar,ka´zhix.etc) try to get some aggro as you will recover it by farming. In the laning phase try to push and harass the enemy. For this try to hit your enemy with your vorpal spikes while hitting the minions. When you see a jungler coming quickly retreat through the bush and you have 2 options to retreat safer; if its a jungler with a jump try to stay in the same place, and while he´s jumping cast q over you and then w to silence them, if neccesary flash out if they do have an stun. If its a inmobile champ try to predict their way and then throw the q, but first w it so it cant throw any abilities to slow or stun you, although recently in the evlynn rework she can charm now(dont fall in love with her)champs. Try not dying in the laning phase and obtaining all the cs/gold you can so you can scale

At this phase you will have mostly 2 or more items if you farmed well(not even one if you fed :V). In this phase your duty is to push sidelanes and then group with your team. If you are the only tank try to be the frontline as in many comps people just take carries, that is one point in your favour as damage chaps in late game can´t one shot tanks which pises them off.
