Introduction

Citric
who are you??

It's me Citric. i just hit challenger playing only shyvana with this new build.
how did you do it?
riot changed crit dmg to 200% and that led to a new build and playstyle
grab your LP before she gets reworked
ok what's the secret?

if you crit with
Twin Bite, all secondary autos also crit
so we use
Sundered Sky to guarantee a crit and play for burst dmg
THAT SOUNDS BROKEN!!
how do i make it work??
read the rest of the guide
or watch my stream
How to Play
so how exactly do you play this build?

Sundered Sky makes your twin bite crit twice so we want to avoid auto attacking before Q

the icon means your next auto attack will be a crit on the target
ok so jump in and Q?
not always
should I use E before Q?
sometimes
I only use E before Q if I know my target has no escape or if they are CC'd
many times during your E cast time they can escape your range and you end up not getting your Q off
sometimes you can get 2 or 3 Q's off in the span of E cast time

this is because your Q can reduce it's own cooldown based on how many targets it hits
what about before getting sundered sky?
mainly play off of fireball damage
but shojin gives you enough health to play in melee range as well
what else should I look for?
although you do crazy aoe damage, sometimes killing the priority carry is good enough
so don't always stress about jumping on stacked targets
but if you do you can easily get a multi-kill
Runes
so why those runes?

conqueror gives us additional AD which scales our crit burst
the healing can help you survive through the teamfight
shyvana also stacks it really quickly in one rotation
what about the small runes?

Legend: Haste is the best because having your skills back up is the most important part
it will give you the highest damage output
can I go something else other than Cut Down?
yeah, i just take it because a big part of the build is one shotting squishies from full health
why do you take those inspiration runes?

Cash Back will help you reach your build which is the biggest lever you can pull

Triple Tonic helps you max E and Q earlier which spikes your damage hard
pop the first potion at level 3 and it will give you some extra gold too
use the second potion for your first big objective fight
what about the shards?

i prefer these shards because movespeed can help you secure kills
i sometimes grab the tenacity on the third row if enemies have too much CC
in lower ranks I think going adaptive force in second row is better
Summoner Spell
why do you always take flash?
flash is extremely important in this build because getting a surprise Q onto a priority target or onto stacked targets can literally win you the game. trust me bro don't take anything else.
Skill Order
why do we max fireball first if we want to play for Q damage?
we only want to play for Q damage once we have sundered
you gain way more damage and have a more stabilized early game with shojin + fireball max
why do I see you sometimes doing different skill ordering?

if you want, you can level up fireball 3 points and then max Q or even alternate between the two skills
i've found that getting your e maxed first is the most stable version as I usually finish sundered sky as I reach level 12 and get Q maxed with triple tonic
Items
why red smite?

the slow on the red smite helps a lot as shyvana doesn't have any cc to hold her enemies down
why do we go shojin instead of sundered first?

we rush shojin for a faster clear speed
shojin first also increases our early game damage much more than sundered
take a look at the stats on the two items
what order should i buy the components?

always buy the pickaxe first then long sword, the AD is what will make your clear fast
then buy the health components
which boots should I go?
if you need tenacity vs enemy CC then go mercs
also try to buy boots of speed on first or second back

if enemies have all auto attackers then go plated steelcaps
then if these situations don't apply, just go swifties
when should I buy tier 2 boots?
sometimes I will buy them before shojin but this usually only applies to high elo
as high elo games are usually quite fast in tempo
if I were you, I would just buy it immediately after getting shojin
what order should I buy the components for sundered?

I always try to buy caulfields first
the 10 ability haste is really nice at this point
sometimes I will buy the health first if my team doesn't have engage
which means i need to be tankier for fights
what do you get after the core items?

infinity edge will spike your damage very hard
it gives a lot of AD and makes your crit do even more damage
but there are a lot of different options
what about endless hunger?

that's my go-to third item if I need more tenacity and survivability
a lot of the times being stunned for a split second can determine an entire fight for shyvana
can I go tanky after the core?
yes but I prefer not to unless the enemy team is the same damage type and my team doesn't have engage
so you usually just go more damage?
yes because the crit interaction on twin bite is so powerful
every extra point of AD is being scaled more than 4x
and even more if you are using Q on stacked enemies
if there are so many options then how do I know what to build?
building damage is good every game so if you want one build then it is probably infinity edge
but if you want to climb higher, adjust based on the fights you have
if you are dying way too quickly then I would buy deaths dance or maw

these items give resistances and it scales nicely with the health on shojin and sundered

if you are not able to kill the priority target then consider the higher damage options

if they have too much armor then buy something like serylda's or terminus
i see now citric, wow you are so great
hey no problem i got u my guy but yeah i am kinda dope
quit glazing yourself you psycho loser
alright man fine
Jungling
should I jungle different with this build?
no, play shyvana like shyvana
look to full clear
in the new season, this is the path that I've been doing the most

why is that?
I've noticed that early game impact can be quite significant
so I've been starting on buff to clear faster
this allows me more time to set up for scuttle and potentially double scuttle or get a gank off
what do you think about faelights?
faelights are really annoying for shyvana because she doesn't have a way to get around the vision
buy sweeper after your first back as sweeper will tell you if you are on faelight vision
this has made it harder for shyvana to take early dragons
any other new season tips for shyvana jungle?
when you reach level 6 I will usually force a gank with my triple tonic potion
it doesn't matter if you don't kill but if you can an enemy low, it usually means a free objective
Conclusion
alright man thank you for that guide
yeah no problem
it was very unprofessional that you didn't structure it like a normal readable guide with sections and headings
well too bad, i was way to deep into this before i considered whether it was a good idea or not
well alright man i forgive you
hey thanks. i hope you got what i was trying to say tho
yeah i did
