How to Master the Shadow Assasin
Now, before all the questions come in about buying a control ward first, its actually a new pathing. First, you start by warding your blue with a control ward, then proceeding onto wolves, taking e, going raptors, then krugs. By now, you usually want to look for a gank depending on what form you wish to get. If you cannot gank, go blue and gromp, and then get scuttle, red, and reset. At this time, you MUST gank.
(If you don't get form by 11:00 then you probably are going to lose the jungle.)
TIP:
-Use alternative ganking routes with your Kayn E to ignore commonly warded bushes.
-Flank the enemy in team fights and head straight for the backline. Focus the squishiest members first.
-Gank and skirmish as much as you can in the early game to get your form change ASAP.
Abilities:
The Darkin Scythe [Passive]
After collecting orbs dropped by enemy champions, Kayn can transform into either Rhaast or the Shadow Assassin. Rhaast grants temporary spell vamp and the Shadow Assassin grants bonus magic damage.
Reaping Slash [Q]
Kayn dashes forward dealing damage, then slashes at the end of his dash damaging surrounding enemies. Rhaast deals bonus damage based on max health.
Blade's Reach [W]
After a short delay, Kayn deals damage in a line and slows all enemies hit. Rhaast also knocks up enemies for 1 second, while the Shadow Assassin sends a shadow to perform the ability in Kayn's place.
Shadow Step [E]
Kayn gains bonus movement speed and ignores terrain collision. Kayn is healed when moving through terrain. Shadow Assassin reduces the cooldown, removes slows, and grants even more move speed.
Umbral Trespass [R]
Kayn transports himself inside of an enemy champion. He can reactivate to deal damage and dash away from the host. Shadow Assassin has bonus cast range, while Rhaast gains bonus damage and healing.
Basic Combos:
-AA then Q straight afterward and it will cancel the auto animation and combines the AA and the first part of the Q damage. Useful in certain situations, and if you use it properly in the Jungle it can make your clear faster as well.
-As Shadow Assassin you can use your W and Q at the same time. AA before you W Q for the most effective combo.
-Simple Flash and Q. Can be used to secure kills or get away.
-E and you can burst when they don't expect it, W, and Q.
-Tower Diving, only DO AT LEVEL 6!!! W, Q, get low as possible with aa, then r for the tower agro reset. (Do with minions)
