Welcome to my wonderful Taric guide. In my opinion he is one of the best aggressive kill lane supps since he can stun someone, shred their armor, smash 'em with a mallet, heal his adc, then walk away like a bad*ss after setting up a double for his ADC.. I will teach you how to both play Traditional Taric and my unique True Damage Taric.

Let's start off with some basic pros and Cons

I use pretty much the same runes for both builds. Gold quints are standard for most supports, but I've done some testing on going straight for more armor with my quints. Armor seals are a necessity for most champions, but with the extra armor from armor reds and/or quints you can throw in a few gold gen seals too. I prefer to go half strait MR and half Mr per level in bot lane. It gives you some protection from the pesky early magic poke supports like Sona or Corki, while still giving you more MR for endgame.

This is the chapter that defines this build. I'm gonna explain what "True Damage Taric" is and how it works. I discovered this build while duo queuing with my friend. I was supporting him, and he got super fed as vayne Early as Vayne. Soon our lane became worth no gold, and the rest of our team was struggling, so we pushed and roamed. After we counter ganked mid, picking up a few kills, we both returned to base with a hefty amount of money. The other team had bad team comp, with their support being their only true magic damage. I had enough for Thornmail, so he jokingly suggested that I just start stacking armor, a lot of it. By mid game we found out how OP Taric can be with a sh*t ton of armor. My armor aura was huge, my Gemcraft and Shatter were chunking peoples' health, and I was unkillable. Best of all we found out the broken tactic of armor stacking taric. The more armor i had, the more armor i could shred with my Shatter. The "True damage" i speak of comes from the fact that I could reduce some of the enemies' armor to 0, so my adc was effectively dealing true damage. I kept building all armor, even against team comps that didn't call for it, and it still worked because the armor shred on his w is just too OP. I know there are some critics, and some of you think I'm an idiot right now but I think my build makes the games fun as hell and I just wanted to share my tactic with the world.
