Dominate Mid as Rumble

INTRODUCTION
Hi this is my first guide, I decided to make my own Rumble guide because I haven't found one Rumble guide on mobafire that is a strict Rumble mid guide. I want to show you that Rumble is a very strong and reliable option to play and dominate your opponents on mid. So if you want to try playing Rumble on mid this guide is for you.
Pls don't ever play Rumble top thx.

CONS
- Overheat system (also in pros)
- Easy to kill if you go in to far
- Hard to lane vs ranged mages
- Takes time to understand him completly
- Can't use abilites during overheat
- All in champion
Abilities Back to Top
Every spell Rumble casts gives him Heat. When he reaches 50% Heat he reaches Danger Zone, granting all his basic abilities bonus effects. When he reaches 100% Heat, he starts Overheating, granting his basic attacks bonus damage, but making him unable to cast spells for a few seconds.

Your passive is the most important thing you must keep an eye on. Keep in mind that when your heat reaches 100 you won't be able to cast your skills for 6 seconds. Make sure your heat level is always above 50.
Rumble torches opponents in front of him, dealing magic damage in a cone for 3 seconds. While in Danger Zone this damage is increased.

Flamespitter is your main source of damage and you want to max it first. When you use it make sure your enemy is always in range so it can deal damage during it's full duration. The most important thing is to have Q active everytime during overheat unless you will be useless for 6 seconds.
Rumble pulls up a shield, protecting him from damage and granting him a quick burst of speed. While in Danger Zone, the shield strength and speed bonus is increased

Rumble's Scrap Shield is used to either tank some damage, bump up your heat level or to make you faster in order burn down your opponent. Also use it everytime you want to roam somewhere or when going back to lane.
Rumble launches a harpoon, electrocuting his target with magic damage and slowing their Movement Speed. Rumble can carry 2 harpoons at a time. While in Danger Zone the damage and slow percentage is increased.

Electro-Harpoon is Rumble's skillshot ability that is used to slow your opponent and deals decent amount of burst damage when you go in full combo. You want to engage after you hit your E thx to the slow your Flamespitter can deal full amount of damage.
Rumble fires off a group of rockets, creating a wall of flames that damages and slows enemies

Rumble's ultimate is the most OP thing in his kit because it deals massive AOE damage that can change every teamfight.It is a little bit tricky and hard to cast so it will take some time before you will understand it. The best case to use it is when the enemy is immobalized. I higly reccomend setting R on normal cast.

I buy them on my first back in order to look for early ganks and they also give u a decent powerspike early in the game.
Rumble's most important item and the one that gives u a enormous powerspike. It allows u to burn through tanks hpbar and also burning damage overtime so it works perfectly with your and
Very imporant item u want to buy it after It allows u to survive in a lot of cases and even let u to a kill because your Q can't be stopped so u can burn someone during being in stasis.
This item gives you more magic pen and healing reduction but firstly you want to get and finish morelo after unless enemy team have a lot of healing then you finish morelo ASAP
Like for every AP champ tons of AP
Last item in this build just a addition to your magic pen will help you with killing high MR champs

DOMINATION
Obvious choice in domination runepage, Electrocute grants huge burst damage to your kit. Thanks to it you can go all in lvl 3 and that is impossible with other keystones.
Taste of Blood is only choice that has a good value on Rumble, Sudden Impact doesn't work and Cheap Shot isn't worth. U can sustain a lot with Taste of Blood
Eyeball Collection is the best out of this 3 additional AP is always a good choice and the other 2 are just bad
In my opinion Ravenous Hunter is incredibly broken especially on Rumble u can heal thousands of hp throughout the game. Ultimate Hunter might seem like a good option on Rumble but you don't actually need additonal CD because The Equalizer CD is stupidly low.

SORCERY
Nimbus cloak is insanely good on Rumble it allows you to chase down majority of champions and burn them down with your Flamespitter and Ignite
Scorch is just overall better than the other 2 it grants bonus damage and it is mainly useful for poking your enemy.

ARCANE COMET
Electrocute grants nice damage and allows Rumble to burn down most of champions very early in the game but is harder to proc than Arcane Comet. In my opinion this keystone is more suitable for Rumble mid and I also prefer to play very aggresive so this is my choice. Comet is decent it bumps up your poke and is very easy to proc on Rumble also it will always hit enemy hit by Electro-Harpoon. It might seems really good but sorcery page doesn't give you that unexpected oneshot.

Early Game Back to Top
Rumble's early game is dependent on matchup but most of the time you want to shove the wave towards enemy turret and look for jungle invades or roaming to gank top or bot.
Lvl 1 take Q or E, Flamespitter is better for champs with weak lvl 1 and Electro-Harpoon is better for ranged and strong lvl 1 champs.

You want to poke your enemy almost all the time either with Q or E and always keep heat level above 50 that is very important. If your enemy has 3/4 of hp you can go all in lvl 3 after you hit E first.
Mid/Late Game Back to Top
You want to have Sorcerer's Shoes after your first back, when you have them keep the wave pushed all the time and look for ganks and jungle invades. Also nice thing to do is stealing enemy jungler Raptor camp everytime it is up.
In teamfights your main goal is to land a perfect R that burns all 5 of the enemy team or cut of their escape route. Don't be afraid to follow your The Equalizer With Q flash straight into the teamfight, that's why Zhonya's Hourglass is your core.
