The Basics

Alpha Strike Is Master Yi's Q ability, and his main source of damage. When you use it, he zooms across a small area, becoming untargetable. While doing this he strikes up to four other targets. This ability scales with his TOTAL AP. This makes him incredibly strong, especially with Magic Penetration and a lot of AP.

Meditate is Master Yi's W ability. Upon using it, you rapidly regain your health over a few seconds. I believe it scales with 4 times your current Ability Power. Has a very long cooldown though so be careful when using it.

This is Master Yi's E Ability. It has a passive which gives bonus attack damage, and when using it, doubles that bonus for 10 seconds. This is good because it gives AP Master Yi bonus AD.

This is Master Yi's R ability. It has a passive that whenever he kills a unit, he refreshes all of his cooldowns. Assists also reduce the cooldown, but by half. Upon activation, Master Yi gets bonus attack speed and movement speed for a few seconds.

This is Master Yi's passive. Every seven attacks, Master Yi Strikes twice. This pretty much only benefits AD Master Yi.
AP Master Yi Should Be played in mid lane. I have found that all though pushing is not always a good thing, It is good for him to Alpha strike onto a minion, hoping that it will hit a champion. It deals quite a bit of damage when it hits. I spam this whenever it is off cooldown to widdle down my opponents. Mana is not really a problem with the runes and the doran's ring mana regen. I hit the minions because we dont want to pop up right in front of them because they may run back to their turret. So try to hit a caster minion (if the enemy is ranged) or a minion in front (if the enemy is melee). If you harass a lot, then I would just dive him, especially if you have your jungler ganking, and this becomes easier when you get your ultimate.
