Was a really bad matchup during 12.9 and is naturally a counter to you. Very hard to play against and you can never 1v1 him really. One tricks will ruin your day. I suggest banning you run into Rengars often or know a OTP is in queue.
Nunu & Willump
Another annoying matchup, but not seen as often anymore. He ganks much more often then you can and you can never really kill him. This matchup is still very winnable. AP Nunu is easier to deal with.
Shaco
This is like Rengar and Nunu combined into one. Hard to 1v1 him because he takes ignite and he will constantly gank your laners or invade you. I suggest banning this if your low elo.
Volibear
I find this matchup very difficult. You cant really 1v1 him and he builds full tank and can still wreck you. If you 1v1 him early you need to dodge his thunder and avoid wasting abilties on the shield. Theres a point where if you have no lead you will not be able to 1v1. Otherwise its winnable if you can take him down early
Kayn
His early game can be pressured heavily, but his farming speed can really fuck you over if you have no created a significant lead. If you think he is going to go the blue and not red kayn I suggest the Frostfire Elise build otherwise Red kayn will counter that build
Shyvana
I think she is really strong right now. She farms very fast and plays the opposite side as you stealing your camps when you show on the other side of the map. You can still win this matchup though. As of 12.10 i'm not sure if you can 1v1 her if shes level 4 and level 3 I would just avoid and make a lead in lane or invade with your mid/top
Sejuani
If she has other frontliners on her team go the conqueror tank build. She is really hard to play against as burst elise and not really 1v1able unlesss you catch her on camp.
Ivern
Very annoying, You need to make sure that he doesn't take your buff level 1. So ask teamates to cover that and try and path buff to buff for this matchup. If all else fails just make sure you start red to guarantee a strong first gank.
Rammus
It really depends how the rammus player plays. If they play like nunu its doomed. If they play like amumu its probably in your favour. Same build as sejuani notes state unless the rest of his team is super squishy
Zac
Like the other tanks with weak clears, they are all vulnerable to early invades but can sometimes stall long enough to end your game. Zacs passive is very scary and if you don't kill him fast enough the enemy mid or top can roam quick enough. Zacs early game clear is one of the worsts, his E is on a very long CD lvl 1 so make sure to abuse that. If he manages to scale he completly counters your champion. Once hes level 4 and 5 he is going to start spam ganking with his leveled up E. Watch for counter ganks and abuse him if you know his passive is down.
Olaf
Hes not really good right now but he does technically counter you. Avoid 1v1ing.
Udyr
This mathcup is not hard anymore since Udyr nerfs, but it plays similarly to Shyvana and Olaf, where you can't really 1v1 them.
Diana
I think this matchup is slightly Diana favoured right now. If you go DH you will not be able to 1v1 untill you get fed. Because she takes conqueror she simply does way too much damage in a 1v1. Other rune choices can make the 1v1 easier. Always rappel her ult damage when she engages.
Graves
This matchup is Elise favoured. However, Graves is super strong right now so things can always go south. His smokscreen can block your vision preventing you from dropping down early on targets if its at th center. One thing I noticed is that you can actually move behind your spiderlings every time he goes for an AA to block his damage. But that is only applicable if you are both pointblank beside each other.
Trundle
You can't 1v1 him ever so just avoid and make your plays.
Lee Sin
Elise favoured, however Lee Sin can still win this matchup and ruin your day. If he hits q dodge the dmg last second with rappel to stall time for your teamates to come or escape.
Nidalee
Good Nidalees can me your life in the jungle really hard. I think this matchup is the most even one out there. If she hits spear your probably not going to win the 1v1.
Evelynn
This matchup is really easy if your solo laners are playing strong early game champions that gain prio, because that will allow you to ruin her life in the jungle. An early verdant barrier is not a bad idea but not always viable if she is the only ap threat.
Nocturne
Nocturne is really strong right now. To beat him make sure you dont waste cocoon on his spellshield. You can rappel his fear duration fully if you time it right. This matchup is similar to evelynn
Xin Zhao
Hard to 1v1 him but it is possible. I would just stay your distance from him and focus on ganking lanes and counter ganking him
Hecarim
This is one of elise worse matchups if he is strong in the meta. RIght now he isnt so this matchup is not a problem. Just avoid getting hit by his fully charged E and his ults in teamfights.
Ekko
If he snowballs out of controll this matchup is doomed. His early game is pretty weak and so you should have the upper advantage for a while.
Kindred
Mostly favoured for Elise, but she has 2 ways to dodge cocoon. if you miss cocoon just disenegage from the 1v1. She will kill you if you have no way to get close to her. Later on you need to cocoon her specifically to prevent her from ulting. Becareful of an early invade lvl 2.
Lillia
You can easily kill her if you hit the cocoon. But she will prob spend more time farming. You can prob catch her on a buff if you know where she is pathing.
Kha'Zix
You counter him for the most part but like Ekko he can snowball out of control if you don't accomplish anything or make a mistake.
Rek'Sai
Very Elise favoured. You definitly want to hover lanes and counter gank her. Avoid fighting her if she has flash up. She is pretty strong right now so don't underestimate her damage.
Skarner
I literally have no idea i think this matchup is like an easier version of sejuani and rammus
Viego
This matchup is elise favoured so hard. Dont go the conqueror build. He can still snowball out of control but elise can really just shut him down.
Warwick
You can't 1v1 him. But he is generally not much of a problem later. Try and cocoon him when he ults your teammates and when he fighting either rappel his ult or fear and dont blow your abilities when he uses his E similar to master yi W.
Karthus
Honestly, this matchup can go both ways. You should always save rappel to dodge his ult. And make it your mission to either take over the game or invade his ass. if he takes his exhuast he cant flash away on your first invade so just rappel its duration if he times it poorly and kill him. He will win if the game goes on too long.
Amumu
Never a threat really. His clears are not good, you can invade him or just gank lanes. just dont int and your good.
Master Yi
Super free matchup for Elise. Just dont waste your cocoon so he can dodge it with q. If your low elo and find your self getting stomped by yi's you could ban it too. But realistically you should never be losing this matchup. Dont use your abilties when he uses his w. You can cancel it with cocoon if need be.
Renekton
This is the best top laner with Elise. Always path to him first and just towerdive or gank the enemy laner they will die. Don't go PTA with Renekton.
Thresh
A good Thresh is really nice to play with on a high tempo jungler like Elise. Always camp this lane and ping when your going in.
Nautilus
Similar to thresh, high cc lockdown is great with Elise to guarantee a kill.
Talon
Strong AD midlaner who can roam with you very ideal.
Qiyana
AD midlaner who can roam with you.
Draven
Probably the best adc to have on your team both of you snowball super hard.
Braum
Your Spider Q can actually proc his passive which is super nice to gank with.
Blitzcrank
Lots of kill pressure and pick potential with Blitz on your team.

Similar to Asol, ganking him is pretty easy with his CC lockdown.

Similar to Renekton and Kled, but less damage. Level 6 you can both drop tower aggro for a total of two times.
