Introduction

Urgot is one of the stronger top laners right now and for good reason. He has good trading potential andcan easily bully a lot of top laners to give himself early advantages without the help of the jungler. This build is priamrily to build your own advantage while being able to stay in lane and regenerate from Urgots trades while also putting out a lot of damage early.

Runes

A lot of people want to go with Arcane comet for the easy proc with Q. You shoot your Q and the comet will almost always hit since it has a good slow. By doing this you will poke your opponent a lot but you can't hit every skillshot and therefore it's way easier to just go in and trade. That way you get a better use of the Corrupting potion and since you also use Time Warp Tonic you will get more time to trade. For that reason Bone Plating is another stron rune when you go for the trades early since it neglects some of the damage from the enemy. Grasp will also get a lot of procs in the trades and since you play as a ranged champion you can also just hit some minions with autos and then go in and proc Grasp again. Conditioning and Overgrowth will help you more in the late game, but Conditioning will also help a lot in lane after the 10 minute mark.

Farming

One of Urgots strengths is his ability to bully the enemy top laner and his passive does a lot with this. This also makes him a champion where farming is easy. He will go around the wave and proc his passive on waves and when the enemy steps forward to farm you activate w and he will most likely have to back off. However your passive can also ruin your farming since it's AoE. Therefore you have to be careful how you position yourslef when you go for the cs. When you get your second point into your Q at level 8 you can just use your W and walk around the melee minions and it should kill them with your passive. After that your first leg should be ready again and you auto the minions so yourpassive hits them all and clear them with your Q.
