Hello! My name is kingkhoi and this is my first guide in MobaFire. I chose to do the guide on Fiora because she is a great champion, one of my favorites. This isn't the best guide but one for beginners who need to learn the basics of Fiora. I know this guide will have many bad things about it so I hope you will give me feedback and remember to vote!!!

Fiora is a solo top champion who can also be played jungle, but I prefer to play her solo top. I like to play her as an AD glass cannon, focusing on Lifesteal, and AD. Fiora is a great dueler who dominates early trades and can snowball very hard.

SPOTLIGHT- Play Video

I chose AD marks, Armor Seals, Attack Speed Glyphs, and Armor Pen. Quints.

The reason I chose AD marks is because it is always nice to have that extra AD.

Armor Seals because Fiora will probably be up against an AD top and it is essential to have that armor to resist

I chose Attack Speed Glyphs because Fiora does a lot of damage with her auto attacks, but, you can also choose to have MR (Magic Resist) Glyphs instead.

Armor Pen. Quints are great to have so you can damage those tanks.

I like to start off with Cloth Armor and 5 Health Potion. This is a good start because of the sustain and having that armor to help win early trades is great.

Doran's Blade is a good item because of that AD and lifesteal, with a little health. Good for early laning.

Your early game buys should be Vampiric Scepter for that lifesteal, The Brutalizer for that AD and Armor Pen, and Tiamat for splash damage.


Essential Items

Essential Items are...

Ravenous Hydra- Great splash damage to go with Fiora's auto attacks and ult. Also gives good AD.

Black Cleaver- Gives health, AD, and that Armor Pen you need to take down tanks.

Bloodthirster- Gives Fiora lifesteal, and a lot of AD so she can do lots of damage.


Other Items


Last Whisper- Great Armor Pen for taking down tanks and makes her ult do lots of damage.

Frozen Mallet- If you are in need of health take Frozen Mallet. It gives a good slow, a little AD, and lots of health.

Blade of the Ruined King- Great percentage damage and it also gives Attack Speed and Lifesteal, as well as some AD.

Mercurial Scimitar- Gives good AD as well as Magic Resist, can cleanse you of CC.

Maw of Malmortius- AD, and also gives you a good amount of Magic Resist. If you are dying, it provides you with a shield.

Guuardian Angel- It gives you Armor and Magic Resist, also if you die, you are revived with a decent amount of Health and Mana.

Zephyr- Gives you good attack speed, movement speed, and CDR (Cooldown Reduction)

Here, I take my Q at level 1. Some people tend to take their W first, and thats fine. I like to take my Q first because it can close the gap in early fights and it can activate twice, giving Fiora the upper hand in damage in early trades.

I max my W because it gives a lot of damage and defense. You can turn opponents attacks against them giving you the advantage in 1v1s.

Max your Q second for more damage, then max your E last.

Passive: Duelist: Fiora regenerates health over 6 seconds each time she deals damage. Striking champions will cause this effect to stack up to 4 times.

Q Lunge: Fiora dashes forward to strike her target, dealing physical damage. Fiora can perform the dash a second time within a few seconds at no mana cost.

W Riposte: (Passive) Fiora’s Attack Damage is increased. (Active) Fiora parries the next basic attack from a champion or monster and reflects magic damage back to the attacker.

E Burst of Speed: Fiora gains Attack Speed for a couple seconds. Each basic attack or Lunge she lands during this time increases her Movement Speed, stacking.

R Blade Waltz: Fiora dashes around the battlefield striking random champions dealing physical damage. Successive strikes against the same target deal less damage.

I tend to take ignite so I can secure early kills and deny healing


I also like to take Flash along with Ignite so I can escape and chase people down.

Other Viable Spells

Ghost is another good replacement for Flash, it lets you escape and chase people as well, though I prefer Flash, you can take this over it in certain circumstances.


Exhaust is another good summoner spell, it lets you slow and chase down enemies. You could replace Ignite with this.


Teleport is good when your lane is pushed or you need to participate in a teamfight and get there fast.

I have made a chapter especially for Fiora's ult. (Given its a very OP ult but tricky to use)
Fiora's ult is a lock-on where she becomes untargetable, doing many hits to a primary target and nearby enemies. Once the ability wears off, she is placed right next to her primary target she locked on to. This can be a very dangerous ult. If you position yourself incorrectly, the enemy champion could run to his team or to his turret, and when the ult wears off, you will be there too, vulnerable. Make sure you can use this ult correctly, it is great for securing kills of diving if you have high health.

Fiora's Ult also activates Ravenous Hydra. If you activate her ult with Last Whisper + Ravenous Hydra/Tiamat, it can be truly devastating and shred the opponents health.

A good Fiora coordinates with her team. If you are in the middle of a teamfight, and the enemy adc is hiding in the back line, you can use your Q to dash to him/her and quickly burst him/her down. Her ult is AMAZING in teamfights, it is a great AOE and it makes Fiora untargetable, so if you are about to die but the enemies are low on health, you can ult, kill them before you die(if you die) Fiora is great for taking down single opponents.

Fiora can win almost any trade in early game top lane. She can constantly keep up damage, and if you are low on health, drink a pot, OR you can use your passive to lifesteal off minions. She has an amazing passive always giving her advantages in lane. You can bully your opponent very hard, consistently damaging them and zoning them. Soon or later you can go for the kill.
