Choose Champion Build:

  • LoL Champion: Fizz
  • LoL Champion: Fizz

Overview

With all of the hype of the new champion Fizz, everyone is quick to build an ability power focused build, but with the way Fizz's W works, an Attack speed build is going to net you the best possible damage output without having to wait untill end game to destroy people.

This is my own personal take on the new champion, and a way to play him that differs from the usual, hopefully you will enjoy the build, feel free to leave comments below on your thoughts and what could be changed.

Lore

Centuries ago, an ancient water-dwelling race built a hidden city beneath a mountain in the sea. Though these creatures had their enemies, the city was an impenetrable fortress, and, in the safety it provided, they grew complacent. Fizz, however, harbored a curious spirit that could not be satisfied living so cushioned a life. Unable to resist the allure of danger, Fizz had a habit of sneaking out of the city to look for trouble. In his many adventures he grew to be a powerful fighter with a keen resourcefulness that let him skirt danger with clever ease. One day, Fizz returned to find the city abandoned: his people had vanished, leaving Fizz without a clue to explain their disappearance. With nothing left in the city to keep him, Fizz salvaged an enchanted trident from the ruins and set out alone.

For years, Fizz wandered the ocean, using the skills he'd learned during his adventures as a young boy to survive. Finally, Fizz discovered the port of Bilgewater. He was fascinated with the existence of life above the water and could not resist exploring the island. In his endless curiosity, Fizz inadverently meddled in the affairs of the humans who lived there and his presence did not go unnoticed. His mischief angered many residents who eventually sought to capture or kill him. Fizz found himself cornered, and he prepared to return to the sea despite the fondness he'd come to hold for Bilgewater. As he stood at the docks, a massive dragon-shark attacked the port. Fizz defeated the beast, using his resourcefulness and knowledge of the creatures' weaknesses to his advantage. Having earned the gratitude and respect of the humans, Fizz decided to stay in Bilgewater. He joined the League of Legends to further serve his new home.

Runes

Pretty standard here, Going with Flat Magic Pen Marks, Attackspeed Seals and AP per level glyphs, Lastly we go with flat health Quints to give us that sustain that we need early game.

Summoner Spells

is amazing to be able to catch up to people as Fizz, as well as get away, and with the nerfs to flash, they wont stand a chance getting away from you.

this spell has so many uses its almost a must. If you have someone getting away from you, hit ignite and ignite + your W passive will take them down from almost 2 bars of health.

Other Situational Spells:

This new summoner spell is actually very nice for fizz, giving us both attack speed and Ability power, this is a very strong utility to use for First blood when you pair it with and a lane partner using

This was widely used before the most recent patch, with the nerfs to its range its not as viable as it used to be, however coupled with a well timed and you will be escaping from just about anyone.

This is another spell that I do use quite often. When I go with exhaust I'll end up going with and not only will you destroy enemy carries in team fights but you wont find your self being ganked by any high end melee characters like or

Skill Sequence

W this spell is your bread and butter as attack speed Fizz, you will be taking them down so fast they wont know what hit them, we max this First due to the sheer damage out put it will be doing with 2 attacks per second.

E We take this skill at level 2 then level it last due to the lack of damage it will do as Attackspeed Fizz, you will use this to initiate and get away.

Q We max this second due to it applying on hit effects and a nice charge towards enemies, so with trinity force and your W active, you will charge in and destroy people.

You could alternitavely level Playfull / Trickster before Urchin strike but from my experiences it isnt as usefull with this build early on.

Items

Starting + 3 , is going to give you the survivability you need to make it until you have enough gold to get Which is going to help your farm game immensly, you shouldnt have any problems getting buffs or farming CS in your lane at all once this is completed.

Once you Finish up head over and grab your then start working on your core build.

Core Build:

Next we go for a , giving us a not only extra magic damage from each Auto attack, but it also increases your Magic resist per hit up to 4 stacks when you, so against a strong Ap lane or team, this is a great item.

From here we grab , which is an amazing item for Fizz giving us extra magic damage per hit that we do as well as reducing the magic resist of the enemy you are auto attacking, making things start to die pretty quickly

After you finish up with wit's end and malady you are going to start building our first high end item: , from here you should be able to just rip through any squishy target.

We finish up our build with a , and from there, you my friend are unstoppable.

Situational Items:

Note that other options you could finish up with are to sell Wriggles lanturn and go with if its a high end AP team and you are getting focused or go with another if you want that extra bit of damage and are doing well, the great thing about doing this, is you can actually get rid of your boots and the double will make you move almost as fast as if you had .

As always if you feel that you need a defensive item early off, grab guardian angel before Phantom Dancer

Creeping / Jungling

This is a perfect example of your jungle route in solo que when you want to play it safe while still making good timing on level 6.
