Hi, i am DeliriumDnB curently GOLD IV (I managed to climb to GOLD II in 2 days with Swain)on EUNE. After last patch Swain become really strong. I play him mid and top winning every single game so far. Difference from build before patch is maxing Decrepify instead of Torment. Damage amplifier from Torment
doesnt scale anymore so there is no reason in maxing it anymore. Q has better waveclear, better zone, better dmg. Guide is still unfinished but it will update regulary...

Swain's Decrepify lost 2.5/5/7.5/10 Damage per second. It is not that big nerf, late game it is 40 Damage at full length.

Swain's Ravenous Flock heal against champion got bigger nerf. 30/45/60 ⇒ 20/30/40.

He is still strong, IMHO still God/Tier 1 Mid/Top.

Early wave clear W+Q. Later just q is enough. Poke with E+Q. Dont forget to AA while you are in ult. Will be updated. Try it!!

Maxing e doesnt make sense anymore cause dmg amplif is same with every lvl just dmg is scaling. Q is better for farm, zone, bully dmg.

Carrion Renewal

Decrepify
// Active: Swain commands Beatrice to fly to the target location, where she remains for 4 seconds.


Beatrice will attack enemies within the area, prioritizing the target of Torment, other champions in range and then any target in range. Beatrice's attacks deal magic damage and slow. Beatrice deals double damage against minions and executes them below 10 health.
// Your bread and butter skill. Max first. Good for zoning, trading, farming. Does really much Damage. It will prioritize enemies with Torment then enemy champions and if no champions near any other target. Decrepify has no cast time and does not interrupt Swain's previous orders.
Nevermove
// Active: Swain marks the target area. After a 0.875-second delay, talons grab onto enemy units within, dealing magic damage and rooting them for a short duration.
// Max second. Great wave clear early combined with Decrepify. Also good for zoning. It has cast time so try predict enemies movement to hit it. Or combine with q slow for easier root. Be aware that Nevermove has much bigger range than Decrepify
Torment
// Active: Swain afflicts the target enemy with a curse that deals magic damage to them over 4 seconds, amplifying Swain's damage against them by 20% for the duration.
// DoT + Damage Amplifier for 4 seconds. Max last cause Damage Amplifier does not scale with level. It is used to prioritize targets for Decrepify. It is usefull for breaking yasuo shield or for poking. Good trade combo is E + Q
Ravenous Flock
// Toggle: Swain assumes the form of a demonic raven. During this time, lesser ravens strike out, one every 0.2 seconds at up to 5 nearby enemies and dealing magic damage to them, prioritizing champions. Each enemy can only be attacked by one raven at a time and only once per second.

Swain heals himself for a small amount against minions and monsters, and for a bigger amount against champions.

Ravenous Flock cannot select the same target twice in a row.
// Swain transforms into Big Bird (Raven) and he spawns lesser ravens that do Damage to 5 enemies around him. Ravens cant attack same target for 1 second. If they hit enemies they heal him for some amount, which is really big vs champions. It continues to deal dmg and heal if you use zhonya so with ult zhonya you can sometimes healt to full hp from 50% for duration of invulerability of zhonya

Discusion

RoA ( Rod of Ages) is insanely strong on him. I prefer it over Everfrost. RoA gives 200hp more and 20ap more and is cheaper by 400 gold. Active is meh. Get this only if you dont manage to buy RoA till 20 minute mark. One tip. If you are running from, for example, cait ult and there are no minions around. Use Nevermove anywhere and turn your R after that for heal from RoA passive. It can save your life. Think about that!
