Hey guys, i am a league player for over 3 years, i have played in 3 different servers, Na, eune, euw. My highest rank was master on euw. currently playing on NA. I played almost every champ in the game and all lanes. I think top lane is my favourite lane and yorick is my fav champ to play at top because he is fun and can make you win easy if you follow some steps.

As you see my runes are clearly so offensive which puts yorick at a bad spot early game since you got no ar or mr or hp. I believe that no item can have good offensive effects like the runes, that's why i chose runes that gives ar pen, lifesteal, attack speed,etc. and the items are almost all of them are defensive mainly except trinity. so you see how your runes is going to make you melt your enemy while your items will provide unlimited hp, ar, mr that will make it impossible to kill you.

early game you need to play very safe until you reach lvl 4, then you can start poking, try to farm most of the time and ignore trades, because you need to get sheen so quick. so keep farming till you get your core items, then start engaging in trades and get kills. but don't forget your role as a top laner, you are a tank so don't rage when you don't get kills or not dealing enough damage to melt down others. you need to push push push, but don't die pushing be smart. use your Q as an aid to push. mid and late game is just you split pushing and killing anyone in your path, but if enemy team happens to be in your base you gotta go back and def. I am sorry because i am not detailed enough i am not that good at writing.
