You can surprisingly out damage this absolute monster of a champion. Your passive can also help you to kite him as long as you can avoid his throwing axe. This build in particular is very effective against him as you can easily out sustain him with your ravenous+trinity force core.
Rengar
If rengar decides to go top lane against you then be very careful. Mainly because he can leap out of bushes with his amazing gap closing passive and truly **** you over. Rengar tends to build some lifesteal in the top lane and can out sustain you even with your build core.
Riven
She isn't too threatening from personal experience towards GP but still proceed with caution as she does extremely high amounts of damage. However once you get your ult you can beat hear with roughly 40% of your health remaining if it's a 1v1.
Cho'Gath
Cho'Gath is a relatively high threat as he can zone the **** out of you with his high amount of CC. It isn't too easy to get close to him but it is very possible. However even up close you have to be careful because of his W and Ult. Basically cho'gath can beat you long range and can even beat you up close. However it is possible to beat him with your sustain from the core build and if you do choose to build a death's dance and a BOTRK.
Nasus
gp isn't phased much by Nasus. In the laning phase surprisingly GP can bully the **** out of Nasus with his Q and the barrels. He can deny Nasus a lot of stacks meaning Nasus' Q won't one shot everyone on your team XD. From personal experience I haven't had a hard time against any Nasus when playing GP.
Teemo
Temmo is a satanic demon to lane against but GP CAN beat his ***. He can blind you but you can just press W, eat your fruit, gain health, remove all forms of CC and absolute destroy this little piece of ****. Once you get your Ult ready you can kill him with ease and exit the battle with roughly 70-80% of your health remaining.
