Not Updated For Current Season
This guide has not yet been updated for the current season. Please keep this in mind while reading. You can see the most recently updated guides on the browse guides page
From my experience, it's pretty easy to deal with him. He will try to spam you with his skills in lane, try to dodge them as best as you can, you counter his ult great, so unless you are sure you can kill him, don't use your charm until he ults.
Yasuo
Yasuo is hard to deal with, but shouldn't give you too much trouble, unless he is hard Yasuo main that is actually skilled. Just try to farm and wait for your jungler to engage.
Ziggs
Pretty annoying in lane, as he spams like a ******, but shouldn't be too hard to deal with.
Ahri
If you are mirror matched in normal games, it's all skills. JK, if you are using my guide, obviously you will win :)
Annie
Ok, so I have no idea about Annie, as I perma ban her, so I never get to see her, but she seems like a pain in the ***, so look out. Tell me in disscusion if this should be changed, as I'm just not sure :)
Anivia
Shouldn't be too hard, you can dodge her ult, wall and q with your ult. When she transforms into egg, your true damage from q will greatly help you. However, if your ult is down, might be tricky.
LeBlanc
Pretty annoying, can dodge your skills with her w and ult, but so can you with your ult, however, her animation is faster, so can be tricky. Pretty much who has more experience on the champion will win.
Irelia
Be careful of that one. She can easily dodge your skills if there are minions around, and she can get easily to you, when at 5 stacks, you will lose A LOT, and I mean A LOT of HP.
Vladimir
Gay champion is all I can say. Counters your charm with ease, and since you most probably will use e and straight q after that, he will dodge both, so be careful on that. Also, his damage on q when he has his charge is stupiditly huge as well as his heal, morello NEEDS to be bought after GLP. Ignite is great vs him as well.
Kassadin
Lane shouldn't be hard, but in late he will most probably one shot you with ease, so take care.
Katarina
Old kata wasn't such a problem when playing as ahri, but now, as she can jump around the whole map (jk), she will dodge most your skills and just kill you. DON'T WALK UP TO HER DAGGERS, YOU ARE ASKING HER TO KILL YOU!
Cassiopeia
Very hard to deal with. Annoying damage, poison, just wait for ganks and farm when possible. Try to poke her with your q, and when is low enough, engage, but look out for her ult!
Syndra
Shouldn't be too hard in lane, just try to dodge all her skills and then charm her, or just poke her until she is low enough. Look out for her crazy damage on ult though, would recommend barrier here.
Orianna
Might be hard, but not too hard, there are worse matchups, her movement speed bonus from w can be annoying as it is easier for her to dodge your skills.
Talon
Lane should not be too hard, but in mid game or late he might one shot you, zhonya is a must in this case, try to predict with your charm where he might go if he ults, same when he is jumping over the wall, easy to catch him.
Ekko
Look out for his e, he can get to you easily and destroy you if you miss your charm. Care about his w as well. Pretty hard to kill as he will heal MOST of the damage you deal with his ult.
Zed
Instead of rushing GLP, rush armguard, so that the extra armors help you get off at least a bit of his damage. After he uses w and it dissapears, it is a good time to engage, as his only way of escaping is flash and maybe ult, also his damage will be reduced since there is no 3rd shadow.
Brand
Depends if you can dodge his skills easily. If he gets a stun on you with q, you are pretty much dead, no question about it. But also, he has no way of escaping if you hit your charm and except for cleanse and flash, just look out for his poke.
Malzahar
Eh, really gay ult, but that's all to be honest. Try to get his passive off first before engaging, if he ults someone else, just charm him, try to predict when he might ult you and charm right before he does to cancel it and smash him,
Xerath
Dodge ALL his skills, he requires some brain to actually hit you with them, so show him that you have more brain cells. You counter his ult prefectly.
Lux
Super squishy, which is perfect for you. All you need to do is avoid q at ALL costs, unless you want to get one shoted.
Twisted Fate
Shouldn't be hard, no jumps or shields or anything like that to dodge your charm, and you also can deny his roam when he ults, which sounds pretty good, as you most probably will kill him straight after that
Viktor
Annoying, annoying, annoying. Shield on q, small cd and high damage, w stuns, so get out of it if you are in range, care for his e as it might to quite a lot of damage. After 6 shouldn't be that hard as you can get away from is w and run away from his ult.
So, I know you probably don't care, but I'm 18 years old person from Poland living in the UK. Played LoL since season 3 and stopped in season 7, then came back again in season 9. Pretty solid platinum player, I don't play with Ahri as much as I should've, but I mained her for some time in season 7, so thought why not start playing her again if I'm back to the game. Lot of you might disagree with this guide, so if you have any criticism or any suggestions to counters(Need more, don't get too many different matchups), or runes or anything else, just tell me. Also used to play dota 2 and a bit of hots.
Gameplay
Ahri gameplay isn't too complicated. Early might not be the best, but it's pretty easy to last hit all mage minions if you hit all of them with your q. Try to farm up to GLP and try to roam as much as possible. The slow will make it super easy to find free kills on other lanes. Just be careful as it can be stopped by any units like minions. On lane, look out for enemy jungler as you are pretty easy to kill before 6 or when your ult is on cd. Also, don't spam your abilities on your lane like crazy, if you are out of mana, that's it, your pretty much useless, so always keep some spare mana unless you are sure you will go back to base in a second. Try to get the carries as much as you can, as most of the time you can one shot them, unless they are super fed and they one shot you instead.
For now, that is it
Didn't play a lot of games with ahri like most of the mains, therefore there isn't enough "data" for me to make this guide big. As I explore ahri even more, this guide will be updated as much as possible.
Hope you enjoyed, may you play well with my guide, cheers :)
