one of Gnar's Hardest matchups mid. His high mobility and intangibility makes it near-impossible to land a Mega-Combo or harass with Q. Winning extended trades is difficult because he can engage on you if you are within auto range. Bully him hard at early levels.
Ahri
Her natural sustain makes it hard to wear her down. Engaging on her is very difficult because she can match your ult with hers. Do your best to avoid skill shots, and try to lead with an animation-cancelled R
Diana
Can engage on you and lock you in at Lv 6. Be mindful of when you jump so you don't get interrupted. She has no escape, so you can potentially win a fight if you engage.
Orianna
Has decent range and strong harass. Stay out of her range and poke with Q, even if you miss CS. Engage with ult once she is low enough.
Brand
Has decent range and strong harass. Stay out of his range and poke with Q, even if you miss CS. Engage with ult once he is low enough.
Lux
If her E is down, you can almost always engage and win a fight/trade by using E and landing ontop of her, regardless of form. She has low all in potential without her snare. Consider taking Cleanse.
Vel'Koz
This match-up is highly dependent on both of your abilities to land/dodge skillshots.
Vladimir
Stay out of range of his Succ. He will out sustain your Q poke most likely, and will try to Pool out of your all-in as mega. Winning an all-in is doable if you don't let him dodge your ult. Build an Executioners Early.
Veigar
Try and harass him a lot early. His W is entirely avoidable, and he has to choose to use his Q for either trades or Farming. Avoid his stun and he loses most of his all-in. Engage as mega if you can do so without getting stunned. Consider taking cleanse.
Twisted Fate
Easy to engage upon due to his low mobility. Stay out of range if he pulls a gold card. Dodge his harass, and you should always win a fight. He is weaker lv 6, so be aware of his roam potential. Kill him at 6 when his stun is down if you can.
Zed
Strong all-in potential at lv 3 and 6. You will almost always lose a fight after lv 6, until very late game. He may try to roam. Try to harass him early. Be aware of his cooldowns, and abuse his lack of mobility when his W is down early. He can snowball very quickly.
Yasuo
Be mindful of where he can dash. Stand away from your minions so he cant trade with you for free. If he windwalls, back up, and dont stand near his wall unless necessary to secure a kill.
Aurelion Sol
Will try to hard push early levels, then recall or roam. You can kill him around lvs 3 to 5. Do your best to harass him.
Ezreal
He can e out of your stuns, even if you hit them. Stand behind minions to avoid most of his damage.
Karthus
His Q can be easily dodged. His low mobility makes him easy to all in. If you get hit by his wall, jump immediately, whether in or out.
Galio
Avoid his knockup, and you outdamage him. All in him at lv 6. Take short trades if he uses his Q.
LeBlanc
Will trade very agressively, leaving you snared. her snare can outrange your jump if you dont bounce. She has high burst potential, and is very hard to kill due to her high mobility.
Malzahar
He will use all of his spells to push the wave. Engage when mega between level 3 and 5, either when he is out of mana, or all his abilities are down. E ontop of him to drop his shield, then your W will either burn his flash, or lead to a heavy combo.
Anivia
Very difficult to kill, due to her stun, her wall, and her Passive. Will likely try to hard shove and roam at lv 6.
