Vayne Passive Ability
Hey! Read me :)
Playing Vayne: When should i pick her, when should i not pick her?
Vayne is really strong against tanky champions due to her passive from the w skill. This is also a big reason why she is such a late-game horror, tanks will be just as easy to kill for her as a squishy carry. The most important thing to keep in mind with Vayne (just as any carry) is postioning. However, with Vayne it is different, as she can not just stand back and shoot on enemies with large range such as Kog Maw, Caitlyn or Tristana. She has to go straight up to the enemies to do damage. This is also why it is important to stand back with Vayne until your team or the enemy team has started the fight.
Start of game: Grab dorans sword (maybe even dorans shield when playing vs caitlyn or other high attack ranged AD-Carry), a heal potion and a greater totem
First back: After coming to base the first time, hopefully you will have enough money to buy vampire sceptar and maybe even boots (berserkers).
Midgame: Here you should have finished buying BOTRK and maybe even started on building your phantom dancer, with a zeal finished.
Lategame: Sometimes you should get last whisper earlier or later on in the game, however if you see the enemies stacking armor then grab it as fast as possible. Infinitys edge and bloodthirster are some more attack damage items, however a Guardians Angel might come in safer if you are focused hard in teamfights. Zephyr and trinity are also two items that can be built on Vayne, however only if you are already infront in gold (build Trinitys)or the enemy team has a lot of cc (stuns, silences, slows, etc.) buy Zephyr.

Maxing Q first will give you the decreased cooldown on the tumble and give you greater damage output in early game. Maxing w second is important for mid/lategame as the true damage passive really destroys tanks. Always put a point into your ulti when possible.
Tip: Try combining tumble with condemn to have a gapcloser followed by stunning the enemy back onto a wall!

I really like the 6% lifesteam from the greater quints as Lifesteal is Vaynes main aim to survive. Flat attack damage marks for last hitting, armor runes on greater seals to be able to trade and get harrased by the enemy AD-Carry, and greater glyphs taking the magic resist per level will allow you to survive bursts more in lategame.
Farming with Vayne is a challenge when playing against a botlane who knows how to zone. The most disgusting botlanes really keep you away from getting lasthits, maybe even experience. However, if this occurs ask your jungler to gank your lane. If he will not come, just stay calm and farm the minions at the tower. Dont waste to much abilities to farm, however it is sometimes needed (Tumble to a minion to reach it in time or just tumble to get more damage on the minion to get the lasthit, instead of the tower) or using your Condemn (E spell) to get the lasthit. The problem is that Vayne does not have infinite mana and the mana supply will end faster than you think :/ Generally, just try to farm as much as you can, maybe even until midgame where your team is fighting while you will push bot, resulting in the enemy team having to send someone to kill you. This is where Vayne shines, in 1vs1 or maybe even in a 1vs2. Due to her mobility and great use of mechanics by the player, she can easily kill two people if played correctly.
