Meanwhile, please DO NOT be a debby downer and talk badly about the build UNTIL YOU'VE TRIED IT AT LEAST ONCE, this is by far the most all-around effective build for Akali in the current meta and enables us to play her a bit differently than before, more as a tanky, mechanical AD/AP hybrid with a LOT of kill and pick-off potential and less as a very fragile & weak assassin without any teamfight sustain.

I'm still actively climbing towards Masters with this build right now and can attest to it's effectiveness.

I will be posting videos and such here soon when I have time to write down a detailed overview of the build and how it changes Akali's playstyle while staying true to her hyper pickoff assassin identity.

The extra AD/tenacity just scales BETTER on new Akali, even though you will see most people building her as AP due to confusion & not understanding her kit & how scaling works. The only AP items you should get on Akali are the ones that give penetration, everything else with AP is a LOSS OF DAMAGE on her.

Why no Lich Bane? 75% AD + 50% AP just doesn't scale well unless we're going full AP, even if we got the item as a 5th or 6th choice it'd still be on the weaker side, not to mention it gives us no survivability at all whatsoever.
