Introduction to this Build

Welcome to my Galio Mid Lane build. In this guild, I will be giving you the beginning tips and tricks on how to master Galio and how to win lane nearly everytime while playing him.

Runes

Quints- Quints of Ability Power and Quint of Armor

: This is important for supplying early lane presence with 10 AP. Since this build is maximized taking advantage of Galio's tank playstyle, having extra damage to muster out early helps.

Marks- Greater Marks of Armor

: This is to help add on to your defensive playstyle and composition.

Seals- Greater Seals of Scaling Health

: Scaling Health allows you to progressively transform into the monster of a tank Galio is in the late game.

Glyphs- Greater Gylphs of Scaling Magic Resist

: Magic Resist is extremely important in fully utilizing Galio's scaling capabilities and maximizing the effectiveness of his abilities.

Masteries

In this mastery tree, it isn't anything that special. Courage of the Colossus is obviously the keystone mastery due to the immense amount of CC that Galio brings with his kit. Utilize Fearless in the mastery tree by receiving bonus armor and magic resist when fighting enemy champions. This combined with COTC will make you an unkillable tank later in the mid to late game.

Skill Sequence

For skill sequence, it is a common route to run when playing Galio. Max Q to maximize your damage in lane while starting to scale into your late game defensive tank. The only time you would Max W second on Galio is if you want more defensive stats earlier on and need help with more scaling into the late game. Without it needing to be stated, Max R when available at 6,11,16.

Spells

- Necessary on Galio not only to maximize presence in lane, but also to aid in your already dominant roaming ability as Galio.

- Flash is the single most important summoner spell you could ever run on Galio for the SOLE purpose of the Flash - W combo.
