Vayne's laning phase is absolute dog ****. Try not to feed your lane by using your tumble passively to dodge skillshots and damaging abilities from the opposing ADC. NOTE: YOU WILL TAKE A LOT OF DAMAGE IN THE EARLY GAME. It is ok to play Vayne agressive but generally I would not recommend it due to her low attack speed at low levels. Your Silver Bolts are the thing that does the most damage. No attack speed. No damage. Generally you want to get Blade of The Ruined King[/code] before you start trading anyway. A good combo to use in lane is Auto Attack, and right as your auto attack is about to end use Tumble which is an auto attack reset, and then condemn to get the third proc of Silver Bolts and pushes the enemy champion away so they can't counter trade. Be warned, only do this when the support has used their abilities or is not in the area. Never tumble forward. Always tumble to the sides. Also don't get too close.

During the mid to late game you always want to make sure their ADC is not in range to attack you. Probably what makes the best Vayne players good is because of their use of condemn and when/where they tumble. The best part of Vayne in my opinion is the fact that your Final Hour (your ultimate) + your tumble makes you invisible for a second. Like I said previously, you don't want to tumble forward pretty much ever unless you are chasing someone. Pop your ult early in the teamfight for the extra AD and movespeed to best get to their squishies. If the enemy tanks are on top of you it might be best to condemn them away or kite them. Your Silver Bolts passive paired with Blade of The Ruined King absolutely decimates tanks. Although this may seem selfish, use your team as meat shields. If you let them burn all of the enemy cooldowns they have nothing left for you and you will absolutely destroy with your high attack speed and surviveability. The only trick to this is just surviving to the late game.

I would not recommend Vayne to anyone who doesn't want to deal with high risk high reward situations because if you misplay even in the slightest you will die but if you play it right you will probably win the teamfight for your team. One bad tumble is the difference between life or death because of Vayne's low attack range. But if you want something new and exciting i highly suggest Vayne.
