Illoai is very low risk with high reward champ she can easily 1v2 in the right match up and even 1v5 with being ahead and catching people off guard. With having a great kit and great sustain it makes for her being a very strong champ and easy to carry and force your team to win at low elos.
Q - Tentacle Smash: Illaoi has a passive and an active on her Q: PASSIVE: Tentacles deal increased damage. ACTIVE: Illaoi slams her idol into the ground, summoning a Tentacle that slams down in the target direction before disappearing. Use this to farm against high poke champs
W - Harsh Lesson: Illaoi's next basic attack gains bonus range and causes her to dash to her target, dealing bonus physical damage. This spell activates nearby Tentacles to slam once.
E - Test of Spirit: Illaoi sends a tendril in the target direction that stops at the first enemy hit. If the enemy is a champion, the tendril pulls their Spirit creating a vessel, places it in front of her and tethers it to them, granting True Sight icon true sight of them while it remains alive. This is your bread and butter if you miss this you are gonna have a hard time until its back up. Personally i wont even waste ult without having landed my E.
R - Leap of Faith: Illaoi leaps into the air before slamming her idol into the ground, dealing physical damage to all nearby enemies. W is lowered to a 2 second cooldown and your tentacles swing twice as fast. So when you jump into the air with ult you become unmovable for a second this is great to know for match ups vs gnar malp and others with disrupts. here is an example.

Your goal is to land E while they are on top of you and you are near a tentacle then W>Q them and the vessel they will not be expecting so much damage at low levels and you might come out with a kill

also if you kill the vessel sometimes you can get some free kills off it with deathsfire touch and also you can kill them with the vessle if it has more health!!!

Post 6(Game Time)
Alright so once you've hit 6 and hopefully are ahead preferably the 2v1 becomes real. If they have a melee jungle and a melee top bait them to jump on you then E>R>W>Q>W>W>W....>Q The reason you MUST land E is
1. you get an extra tentacle
2. double damage to the target
3. all surrounding tentacle will slam once you ult
very important to land E also you should focus the vessel in fights because it will not try to kite you or hurt you
