Skills/Abilites

Zed will deal 6~10% bonus damage to targets below 50% health according to their maximum health. This can be really useful for taking minions under turret. Because one basic attack from a turret and one from you after you purchase a Serrated Dirk will one shot the minion.

Zed will throw a shuriken to a target location, it will pierce through all targets after the first target gets hit all other targets hit by the same shuriken will deal 60% reduced damage and will not go any lower.

Zed will shoot out a shadow of himself to target location, the shadow will mimic all abilities used by zed, so if you use Razor Shuriken or Shadow Slash your shadow will mimic the ability. Your shadow is immobile and when you re-activate your W Living Shadow you will swap positions with your shadow but if you leave a certain range you will be unable to swap places with your shadow.

Zed spins in a circle around him doing area of effect to all enemies around him, if you land your Shadow Slash using your Living Shadow it will slow the for 1 second. Multiple hits with Shadow Slash will deal no additional damage but increase the slow by 50% for each hit/strike.

When a target dies to your ult burst damage, you will take their AD you steal from 5~10% of their total AD. When casted, zed becomes invulnerable/untargetable for 0.75 and marking them. After he reappears there will be a shadow in his place from where he casted his ult, after a 0.5 second delay you can re-cast Death Mark and you will swap places with your shadow, it will also mimic all abilities done by zed regardless of the distance from your Death Mark shadow you will be able to swap places.

Summoner Spells

This is the standard summoner spell for assassins in general, you take this as your primary summoner spell. It gives you lane priority when you have it up and you become a bigger threat than you would if you have another summoner spell like exhaust or barrier. It gives you options such as starting a fight with it, or using it at the end. Whenever you use it depends on you but if you need more damage use it at the start. If you want to secure a kill use it at the end.

Well this is pretty obvious its the default spell for any champion, its a movement spell allows you to re-position if your at a bad spot or gap close when you don't have a way to catch up with your opponent its just a really good item overall.

Alright you can take this but its not that good. Your zed, an assassin that is notorious for getting ahead, gaining a lead and snowballing so hard you win the game just from pure damage alone. Its good against Fizz or any high burst champions but other than that taking it is really not worth it.

This reduces the target's damage but 50% its good again especially against Fizz for obvious reasons because well he has huge burst damage. But instead of sacrificing your lane priority for reducing their damage for 50% for 4 seconds won't matter to much, instead you can just buy mercs and maw. Its not a really good choice overall, for the same reason as Barrier

Runes/Masteries

It's currently the best, keystone rune for zed or any assassin really. It gives instant damage once an enemy has been hit three times with a basic attack or three separate abilities within 3 seconds.

Enemies with impaired movement i.e slows, roots, stuns, etc. you will deal 15-60 true damage. The bonus damage instantly activates as soon as your Shadow Slash hits a target.

After your ward dies, there will be a friendly ward spawned in its place. If you destroy an enemy ward a zombie ward will spawn and take its place. Its duration of "existence" is unlimited and will die after one hit.

Its basically ultimate hat, since its on the Domination tree it has became one of my favourites. Since you don't have to have a few wasted stats on sorcery. I prefer precision as my secondary tree because your auto attacks do a good amount of damage too.

Triumph, this is pretty self explanatory why we take it. When you get a kill/takedown on an enemy champion you heal for 12% of your missing heal and grant an additional 20 gold. It can save you in close fights or give you the extra gold needed for the item you want.

It's a mini fizz W passive, the lower your targets heal the more damage you deal to your target. You will deal an extra 7% to your enemies who are below 40% health, it scales with adaptive attack damage or ability power. For attack damage you gain 9 extra points, ability power you gain 15 extra points. Its a really good passive where when your in a tight situation where your low on health getting rid of a target and gaining that triumph healing might even heal you.

Items

After being unseen by the enemy for at least 1 second you will gain from 30~200% bonus damage it also gives a 99% slow for 0.25 seconds, after being spotted by a ward it will disable the ward's vision and you will one shot the ward. You can also use control+g then click on your duskblade and it will show you if its warded or not. Basically its just one of the best first item rushes for zed.

It has an active, it gives you 20% extra movement speed and you'll ignore unit collison for 6 seconds on a 45 second cooldown, you can rush this as your first item if you plan to roam a lot but even if I do roam a lot I still buy duskblade as my first item anyways because of the amount of stats it gives you.

Black cleaver is a really good item, it gives you 20% cooldown reduction and health for added survivability. After hitting a target with an ability or auto attack you will cleave 4% of their armor for 6 seconds for a total of 24%, after hitting a target you will gain 20 movement speed and 60 if you hit an enemy champion and the movement speed increase lasts for 2 seconds. You could go for an early phage but the movement speed isn't that nice you have your Living Shadow, Death Mark and Flash to gap close to your opponent. So its not worth it in any case. To rush it first.

This is a really good item, but not good enough. It's passive that makes it good and bad (imo) is its bleed passive, all damage taken physical or magic will be converted into a bleed and the damage will be dealt back to you as a bleed. 5% of the total damage taken will be dealt back every second. you also instantly heal for 15% of all damage taken. Its a really good lifesteal item, but the bleed also makes it dangerous. Because if you don't hit anything in a team fight you can't survive it.

This is a really good item especially in the late game. It's build path is really good with a B.F. Sword, Cloth Armor and Stopwatch. It's a really good build path, the cloth armor isn't that bad since it gives you a slight advantage in a fight. But over all its a really good item, if you use your basic, WEQ combo one shot someone you use your guardian angel and waste their CC for your follow up R Death Mark.

This is a good item for building into the last whisper items Mortal Reminder and Lord Dominik's Regards.
is a really good item if their team has good healing for example, when there is a Nami, Soraka or Taric and any other supports with consistent healing. Any target hit by your auto attack or ability will inflict Grevious Wounds, if a target with Grevious Wounds receives healing it will be halved by 50%.

This item used to give you bonus damage against targets with more health than you. So right now its just an item and gives you bonus armor penetration, so its not as good as it used to but I still think its a good item for when you don't know what to buy and when they have no tanks or anyone with good healing.
