This is the one champ I would not recommend taking Zed with because.. Ult, Zhonya, And the possible mercurial.

Introduction
Blade of the Ruined King, he is a lot weaker.The alternative it Crit Zed. With
Infinity Edge and Youmuu's Ghostblade he gets a large amount of crit possibility. More importantly, it's damage stacks with his Death Mark.

Contempt for the Weak gives him additional percentage damage, letting you hit the minnions when they have ample health. Also, the lifesteal runes should help you stay in lane for a decent amount of time.
Indepth Laning
Razor Shuriken until you get level your Living Shadow.After level two, HARASS. Use
Living Shadow to poke. If they make the mistake of walking close to the shadow after the poke, use Living Shadow again and harass. Keep applying pressure with this method. Remember, his passive Contempt for the Weak gives him additional percentage damage. So dont be afraid to go after them when they're under, once you've poked.
