Introduction [Read Before Use]

First, this guide is also something for myself, so I can look back on.

Also I recommend using this guide in a 5man or duo.
This build does not tell you what to do, but a basic structure of what you should do.
Now, onto the first things I really need to say. I'm not the best at Karma but, through my hard work and experience this guide, (mostly build path) is a starting ground on for Karma mid.

THIS IS CONSTANTLY UPDATING AS I KEEP ON PLAYING

This guide does not involve tank build, but if you need to, do proceed to build it.

About Me

Telling you something about myself might help on your judgement.

I main mid, but I can fill in a lot of roles besides jungle
The reason I chose Karma was because I was intrigued during the last LCK. Where Faker went as Karma. So I decided choosing Karma as mid.

Main Champs For Mid: Talon, Leblanc, Karma(Recently), Katarina

Main Champs For Top: Irelia, Camille, Kayle, (Riven I guess??)

Main Champs For ADC: Caitlyn, Ashe

Main Champs For Sup: Kayle, Karma, Morg

Gameplay

Runes

You do not have to follow my rune path

I normally enjoy a mix of lowest CDR possible and mid level damage from the runes.
Sorcery Part, indeed helps me insanely with that. For Resolve, the cdr reduction is greatly loved by myself and the biscuits seem are very helpful if you do seem to have any trouble with anyone. Normally as Karma I don't find any trouble.

Items

I suggest you follow the build path
As my play style exist, I like to support the team while sustaining damage. Mostly sustaining damage. Mana does become a problem and so I do push for the early mana items. For the items on health, I do choose those items to help myself live a little longer.

Ability sequence

Reasoning of Ability Sequence

1st Ability Q.
Reason? The Reason is that this is the main way you'll be poking someone or clearing out a wave. Along with using your ult that is already ready at the start of the game. You can do some insane damage against the enemy Champ while also being able to get minions.

2nd Ability E.
Reason? You can decide if you want your w (Focused Resolve) if you are in a desperate need of health along with your ult. Or just need a stun at early game. Normally I choose to go with E (Inspire) due to the shielding and movement speed to block any incoming damage, or to push forward.

3rd Ability W.
At the point of reaching level 3. You're most likely to be at the point of using an health potion or taken damage. As W (Focused Resolve) stuns, you can have your setting up to have an easier moment of being able to set up your maximum Q (Inner Flame) damage using R (Mantra). Allowing the second part of the Inner Flame to take action and with maximum damage.

Rest of the Ability Slots
Besides the obvious choose your ult. I normally max out Q (Inner Flame) for maximum damage and ability to push and wave clear out minions and getting maximum gold possible. The Reason for maxing out shield (E.Inspire) is that as your cool downs go down, so does your opponent's, and which I enjoy using my shield as often as I can. W (Focused Resolve) is useful when I do use mantra along with it, and stunning the opponent. Though I just feel like E and Q are much more useful.

Pros

Pros
+ Huge survivability
+ Can outplay
+ Huge Assist to Team
+ Great sustained damage
+ A lot of poke and slows with Inner Flame
+ Can carry the team as protective role
+ Not hard to learn
+ You cant kill her
+ Insane damage early game
+ Easy minion farm

Cons

Cons
- You can get flamed in champion pick
- Can get a bit boring
- Needs good decision-making
- Can get annoying on Kills stolen
- Minions block Inner Flame [Q]
- Requires you to be able to handle a lot of information
- Mana Problems (Sometimes)

Team Work

This is the main part of how this build will play
~ This build is mainly on the team work that is going on.
~ If you plan to solo this, then it's gonna be much more difficult.
~ You'll have to recognize your damage might not be enough but also to use your r on your shielding for the entire team.
~ Shielding may not seem that entirely useful but for the cooldown, and the span of time. Its very useful.
~ Never only think about yourself.

Early Game

This guide is based off my experience and so I did end up as main damage but also supporting my team as the backbone.

What do you have to do early game?

All you have to do early game is farm and take the chances of poking the person down with your q & r. Things you do have to worry about is the consequences of poking too far if you end up using all of your abilities. So the best option is sticking with the way getting your damage in. Shielding yourself or taking health when you need it. Also don't spam your abilities as mana will be a problem early game.

-Also know your limits against the champion your facing. Decide if you want to keep your ult for certain abilities. Don't forget you can steal health off from others with R and W.

If the person seems to be completely useless against you then remove the first wave of minions and then proceed to poke forcing them to stay at a distance while you do get the farm you'll need.

If you are being shut down then take the opportunity to farm from a distance and have your jungler be ready for a gank. Normally it goes off with (shield) E and W onto for stun Ult R. With your jungler gank. So far this is the normal way it goes. (Most of the time the jungler is the person I am duoing with.)

Mid-Game

Mid Game either goes off with:

You're doing great, you got kills onto your opponent
Good Job! Keep on pushing your opponent down and stop them from farming. At this point of team fighting try to stay a relative distance in a safe manner. Don't push too far. If you're doing good at this point you'll most likely be a target.

Neutral. Nothing has happened
Its fine. Stay back but also still do as much damage as you can. Maybe build a little more tankish if you need to start an engage. It depends on the situation and hopefully you can get above the person. If team fighting hasn't started yet, try to prepare for the situation that is upcoming.

Not so Great?
At this point building tanky and support is what I would do, but you still have the option to build damage. It depends on your situation and what your team needs. Stay back and think on the situation. Remember Tanky builds are great as well! Dont be so disappointed on tank build.

Question? Ask in the Discussion Area.

How Long will this guide be updated? Constantly For Now, I love Karma.

Biggest thing you like on Karma? Her ability to support the team and herself no matter what.

I wish I did a little bit more damage, though probably due to my build.
