Welcome to my Irelia guide! I decided to make this because I have learned that most people can't play against Irelia's gap closing and her stun and even her sustainability. This guide will tell you how I play Irelia mid and what I do at the different stages of the game. Have fun!

Early game I help my jungler clear blue camp and then I go mid to farm up. You should beware of champions like talon or zed going mid because you won't be able to beat them that easily due to their gap closers.
If you are laning against a pure poke champ, like Syndra or Nidalee, try to bait out their poke then q to a low health minion and then jump to them. This will probably catch them by surprise and then you can take them to half, or kill them.
The main goal for early game is to get you a hexdrinker as quick as possible. This will probably save you from the meta ap casters that go mid.
