Hello everyone! This is my guide to Irelia. Before we get into all this let me just say that my elo sucks. Im not a pro, and I dont claim to be. Oh yeah and this is my first guide. Hopefully it doesnt Blow.

Greater Mark of Desolation- Armor pen is just good. I cant think of anything better to put in this slot.
Greater Seal of Resiliance- If your soloing top defence is good.
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist- Magic resist per level is also good.
Greater Quintessence of Vigor- Health regen for even more sustainability in lane.

Runes are always personal prefernece. these are what I like.

Defence masteries are just great for Irelia. With Defence masteries, Hiten Style, and your runes, you should have no problem staying in lane and farming.

I start with [Boots of speed] and 3 [Health Potions]. The Boots help escape ganks. or get those pesky runners. When the jungler is trying to gank you. your going to be able to out run them usually due to your passive and the jungler not haveing boots. If u cant out run them [Equilibrium Strike] and /taunt as you run to the safty of your turret.

First trip back you want to at least get [Sheen]. If your not able to leave your lane for some reason just keep farming until either you kill your lane opponent or make him go back. When you want to go buy. Push your lane with [Transcendent Blades], Go back and either Teleport for a gank or get back to your lane.

Trinity Force is often the only Offensive item I buy. Your Burst will be pretty high and the true damage from [Hiten Style] hurts supprisingly bad at high levels.

Force of Nature- Health regen, lots of MR, and Move speed. All great things for Irelia.

Sunfire Aegis- Armor and more Health.

After this if your destroying them you can go more offense or more defense either way works.

Get one point in each skill then Max Hiten Style For the lane sustain and true damage harass.

As always max your R anytime its availale.

Max E any time you cant chose W for the slow/stun.

Max Q last.

This is the skill sequence I usually use. If the other team doesnt have a Junggler I will put 2 points in Q earlier because when your farming up against the turret. one turret hit and Q kills the caster minions. If you are farming easily it isnt necessary to lvl q till the end.

Last hiting is super important. It really makes me laugh when the opponent waits in the bush while you stand back and Last hit with Q. They try to jump you and you stun and run.

Last hitting with q is really easy. if u get pushed to your turret you should still be able to farm every minion.

2 Turret hits + 1 melee or Q for melee minions
1 melee + 1 Turret hit + 1 melee for caster minions.
or 1 turret hit + lvl 2 Q for caster minions.

With Sheen it is even easier.

To harass in lane. Turn on your E, Q since q will also do the on hit true damage from E and then W to stun/ slow and get some more true damage in.
