Hey peeps! I am an Evelynn OTP with almost 700k points on her. I started playing last year, but catched up very fast with Evelynn and the game and climbed all my way to platinum with her. Pointing at Diamond this season :)
Why I made this guide? Oh well, just wanted to share my knowledge about a champ I play almost everyday in the simpliest and best way I could ^w^ I know people dislike very long guides and usually look after ones only when they're about to enter the game with said champion. (so just want to know the pathing/runes/items xD)
(Psst, that could also be simply me doing that).

Those are the runes I play on evelynn. Why?
I prefer way better ultimate hunter over relentless and the reason is obvious. To compensate the lack of movement speed I use Nimbus Cloak, which is also super good as a safety tool if you got caught up in a team fight or you're getting invaded.
Gathering Storm is good in low elo because games last very long, in high elo though you might want to get absolute focus because of the adaptive damage you get (and almost always have) from your healing passive.

Always red > crugs (smite on big) > raptors > wolves > blue + gromp smite (if you can do the trick) > scuttle > gank or recall
If self start raptors > red > crugs > gank > from here choose wether invading the enemy, going for your side or recall.

On Eve you either start hunter’s talisman and refillable potion OR you start with talisman, control ward and a red pot if you think the enemy jungler might go aggressive on you. You’ll have to place the control ward on the opposite jungle side of the jungle camp you’re starting with as soon as the game starts.

Your first back items should always be Codex > Blue smite because of its AP/cooldown benefits, dark seal and boots.

Your first item will always be Runic Echoes + Sorcerer Boots, while the core items are Mejai's Soulstealer (IF STACKED) Lich Bane and Rabadon. Which one of the three do I get first after Runic? My personal advice would be mainly going always for Lich components (WHEN BUYING LICH BANE GET SHEEN FOR LAST, PRIORITIZE AP!!!), and to go for Rabadons only if you have more than 10 stacks on your Mejai's soulstealer or if you can directly buy it when you recall. Why these items? Evelynn benefits the most from RAW AP, and Lich bane goes so well with eve not only for the movement and cooldown reduction, but also because Evelynn's E is ON HIT, therefore can proc Lich's passive without having to auto the enemy while doing your burst combo.

- Spellbinder: Thats a cheaper version of rabadon if you can’t afford it in the early game. Variant choice for more AP + Movement speed.

- Void staff: That's an item you often will want to get if the enemy is building heavy MR against you. It's most of my time the always-go item, since the enemies alway end up with tons of Magic Resist for me.

- Zhonyas: get this item ONLY if you're against a very fed Zed or Kayn (ultimates). You can also go for this if you're not so good with Eve and find yourself dying very often due to a very fed AD enemy.

- Banshee's: Again, this should be bought only if they have too much CC for you to be able to engage in a teamfight, or their enemy is full AP and a struggle to deal with.

- Boots of mobility: can be a choice if you're smurfing and you prefer having more map control rather than base AP pen.

- Hextech Protbelt: that's an item you usually buy to gap close better, but I never felt the need to build it as I simply have enough passive MS to chase someone down, plus it takes away Eve's base AP, and makes you more reliant on the damage of the active ability.

- Nashor's Tooth: get this only if you're trying to backdoor, kekw!

DON'T BUILD LIANDRY'S FOR THE SAKE OF GOD! That's the worst item you can get on eve! Did you even read its passive? Eve's a one-shot burst champion!

W: By maxing W you're able to cast W from more far and get more magic shred from it. It gives more damage, but makes you more charm reliant in almost every situation (wether it be clearing or ganking). I would suggest maxing it only if the enemies are mainly tanky and you see some difficulty focusing the squishies properly.

Alternatively, you could always go for 3 points into W (early game), just to then max E (late game).

E: E gives just more flat AP damage. By maxing it you will get the benefit to burst down your enemies faster. Good-to-go option if your enemies are mainly all squishy.

- Ganking with eve pre 6 is fine only if you know you'll pick up a kill, otherwise don't waste time trying to zone enemies off, it's not really worth it and leaves you behind.

- To gank as eve you usually go behind the enemy between them and their turret while in stealth (it will be spontaneous for them to try to go back to the safe turret zone without realizing they're walking into death), put a W on them and proc it either with E or first Q (first q is faster so use E only if there's a minion wave bothering in the way or to gap close immediately after you or the enemy flashes)

- You're an assassin. Therefore your objective is to get the carries out of a teamfight or finding picks.

- In a teamfight always try to flank and get the ADC or who you think needs to be deleted to win he team fight, y'kno? A big mistake evelynn starters do is just treat her as any other champion, understimating that her power is her camouflage and simply staying frontline or following straight up the team in a teamfight, and that's a huge mistake. I know you're thirsty for kills and tryna steal others, but trust me you'll give more benefit by killing people in the back.

- Use your camouflage at your advantage! help your team by warding the enemey's jungle often, buying lots of control wards to always keep track of them and steal their camps! Your clear is very fast also remember that.

- Use your W not only to charm but also to slow down people! If you know they have flash but you're also aware you're fed just w first and do your combo immediately. Even if they will flash your slow will catch up to them super easily!

- Even though you're an assassin, you do a lot of damage to turrets because of the AP and Lich bane, so after you gank and pick up a kill shove in the wave and attack the turret instead of going back to farming.

- Stealing baron is super easy as eve. Get behind the baron pit where the enemy is attacking the baron and try to get vision of it. when baron is around 2K flash in, ult and use the smite EXACTLY DURING THE ANIMATION. trust me you won't fail to steal it!
