Warwick Passive Ability
Introduction
// Well what can I say about Warwick, well for one he is one of the best if not THE best jungler out there. For a start his passive heals him as he fights, which is always nice, then his "q" heals him as well as dealing massive damage! But he really shines with his ultimate! Not many champions can JUMP onto and enemy and tie them down for a crucial amount of time to allow his allies to burst the target down. This is why I believe he is a SUPERB jungler!
// So to briefly sum up what I've said so far, Warwick's natural heal and multiple healing abilities, clearly show his presence in the jungle and in helping his surrounding team.

// Well I went 21/9/0 for my masteries. I went for 9 in defense, because it allowed me to return damage to monsters and minions passively. Which if you are jungling will make a big difference in the long run. Then in the offence category, I took it right to the bottom, this was to unlock "executioner" which allows me to deal more damage to targets with low health. Which when we think about it is great, as we will be ganking a lot, so most of the time the enemies we will be attacking will be fairly low on health! Which makes it all the easier to get the pesky Ashe running to her turret with very low health!
Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed: // Warwick infinitely benefits from attack speed, as the more attack he dose, the more health he will get in return.
Greater Mark of Attack Speed: // Yet again attack speed for the same reason, more attacks = more health returned.
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist: // Simply to try and negate as much damage from the AP casters as possible!
Greater Seal of Armor: // Armour is always helpful, when jungling, and if there ad carry takes a special liking to you!
[Flash]: // Flash is great for getting out of sticky situations, you can just flash over a wall and your gone. Or flash under your turret and see if the enemy will dive you. |
space |
[Smite]: // Smite is almost essential for jungling, it allows you to bring down red or blue buff MUCH faster than normal! Giving you that little edge on the competition |
-
Eternal Thirst: // Each of Warwicks basic attacks deal magic damage, and heal for that same amount of damage dealt.
-
Hungering Strike (Q): // Warwick takes a chunk out of his enemy dealing magic damage and healing Warwick at the same time. This is very effective when used immediately after his ultimate
-
Hunters Call (W): // Warwicks attack speed is greatly increased for a short period of time, it also increases nearby allies attack speed at the same time.
-
Blood Scent (E): // This is a passive ability that when Warwick is close to an enemy with low health his movement speed is increased. This revels them until they heal
-
Infinite Duress (R): // This is Warwicks ultimate, and his best ganking resource at his disposal. He suppresses the targeted enemy, holding them in place, and heals from the damage he is dealing to them.
// Its fairly self explainitory, you lead in with infinite duress, holding and damaging your target. Then gain some health back with hungering strike. And if there not already dead, activate hunters call and claw your way to victory. Your passive should kick in if you have to chase an enemy down!
-
: // This is a very good jungling tool, and it gives you armour, damage and life steal! But also the ability to place a ward every 3 minutes, which is great for jungling and keeping vision on your buffs.
-
: // The classic movement speed plus attack speed, you just cant go wrong!
-
: // Although this item is expensive, it is worth it! You get armour, attack speed and damage. But also a bonus, as you now deal 4% of an enemy's max health each hit.
-
: // This gives us some magic resist which is crucial at this stage. As casters are just starting to build LOTS of AP. But also we get some attack speed and more on hit effects which is exactly what were going for!
-
: // This is mainly for the sizeable damage we get, but again we get attack speed! But the little secret about the Black Cleaver is that is reduces armour on hit! Which lets us deal even more damage.
-
: // Now the final item of a build is key, and here we have one of the best. It gives us 700 HP, which is going to help us last alot longer in team fights. A little damage to add to our total, but best of all, it has a high chance to slow enemies on hit! And with out high attack speed, you bet they will be slow!
// There are many routes through the jungle, but my favourite is as follows. I always start start at blue buff, even though Warwick isn't that many hungry its a good place to start, use your smite and hunters call to finish it quickly!. Then I head to the wolves, which are easily cleared. Next its of to the wraiths, always attack the main wraith first (the biggest one in the back). After you've dealt with them, head to the 2 golems, and by this time your smite should be back up. BUT DO NOT USE IT ON THE GOLEMS! Save it for red buff, so once you've cleared the 2 golems, head to read buff, hit it with smite, pop hunters call and bite into it with hungering strike! That's your first jungle clear! Now you can either go for an early gank, counter jungle or clear your jungle when things have re-spawned.
// So in summary Warwick is a fantastic jungler, who heals, jumps and runs for his team! He is a valuable asset, and if played correctly can turn the tide in any fight.
