Jungle Matchups

Amumu

In this match up, try to be as aggressive as possible and pressure lanes and the opposing jungler before level 6. Amumu is weak early game so you can bully him before level 6. Once he is 6, he get a power spike with his ultimates so be careful because Elise doesn't have a real ultimate.

Evelynn

Eve is not a very strong duelist, but she applies a lot of pressure to your lanes so try to counter gank a lot so that your lanes don't get too behind. Fighting Eve in the jungle is a good idea because she's a fairly weak duelist and a lot of Eve players don't run MR runes so she can get blown up quite easily. Normal wards don't reveal Eve so try to always have a pink ward down somewhere on the map to track her and place green wards at her jungle camps because she reveals herself when she attacks.

Olaf

Olaf is insanely strong early and mid-game. He will out-damage you and slow you to death if he hits you with an axe in the jungle so try to avoid fighting him. If you do get caught by olaf, try to get near one of the jungle camps and Rappel to it, stun Olaf, and try to run away. Rush magic penetration items against Olaf and if you get ahead of him, you can start beating him in fights once you get Haunting Guise and Sorcerer's Shoes . However, if Olaf builds Spectre's Crowl , it's unlikely that you'll be able to fight him successfully.

Jarvan

Dueling Jarvan is easy, his burst combo will definitely not one shot you, Jarvan's main damage source is if he lands his Dragon Strike on you as it reduces your armor and has great base damage. You can't really repel it as it's pretty instant but definitely Elise wins this match up since her damage is stronger than Jarvan's.

Lee Sin

Lee is a strong early game ganker who relies on snowballing his team to win the game. If you can counter gank Lee and keep him from snowballing, you will out-scale him and win the game. For dueling a Lee Sin, you have a big advantage because your spiderlings can block his Q, and you do fairly more damage than him. It's still a skill match up though because if you miss all of your spells and he hits all of his and gets a good jump on you, he can kill you.

Shyvana

Shyvana is a pretty hard match up for Elise. Shyvana clears way faster than Elise and gets very tanky from her passive and items. Unless you get very ahead, Shyvana will usually win duels against you but due to her lack of CC, it's unlikely that she'll kill you. Because of this, it's better to avoid Shyvana in the jungle and try to make plays in the parts of the map where she isn't. Counter jungling and ganking areas of the opposite side of the map of Shyvana generally works pretty well against her, so remember to buy a lot of wards so you can track her.

Vi

This is probably a skill match up based on Vi, if she is maxing Q which is what I usually do then that means if she hits that on you, she wins as her damage on that is pretty high + her auto attack + E combo + W proc, it could probably 100% to 50% you maybe more. If she misses it that's your opportunity to get on her as most of her damage comes from the combo I just described. Also you can interrupt her Q if you land your cocoon on her while she's charging up, although if you both see each other most likely she can interrupt your flight with her Q before you land. You can try to repel her Q if you feel like it's coming to hit you and then most of her damage is gone, but definitely I feel she can kill you if she lands her Q on you, though of course like any duel if you land the first strike you'll burst her to a good chunk.

Offensive masteries help Elise deal a lot of damage throughout the game by picking up attack damage and AP early game along with armor and magic penetration which scales throughout the game. Executioner scales very well with Elise's Q in spider form and havoc increases her damage all around.
