Introduction
I'm don't always play Kalista but when I want to have fun playing adc I usually choose her. My other mains are Fizz, Yasuo, Zed, Shen, Annie and Wu kong.
Anyway, have fun reading my guide and i hope i can teach you as much as possible with it. I hope you find Kalista fun to play but always keep in mind that to play a champion really well, you can't just use the knowledge from guides. You need personal experience as well and you will have to for example not only build the items i give you, but build things that is good for your team and against your opponents. Try out different things and see what fits your play style the most, good luck.
Always max out your q first which does the most damage in one shot and then max out your e which also does damage. Whenever you can get your ult get it. You always max out your w last because it only is for sight and the cd is really long. Dont always wait till you have 5 stacks of spear on your enemy and then q try just poking them with like 3 spears and then e tht will poke them alot. Early game dont spend all your mana trying to poke just farm and if the enemy comes to close poke them with basic attack or your q and then e to make them go back.
Farm early game try not jumping forward because this can make you can easy target when fighting just trt jumping either backwards or around the enemy dont stay in 1 spot because if you do and attack you can not move from there so you will be an east target to kill. If a minion is to far to reach you should either q it or leave it dont risk getting poked for a minion your base health is naturally lower than all champions.
Kalista overall is one of those champs where you can have fun with because of her mobility and kites. Her r is what makes Kalista powerful because you can practically use it to do engage or escape any situation because when you r the champion your bonded to he is invulnerable for 4 seconds which can save him or create a team fight. I would recommend trying to stay close to the bonded champion because you have a higher chance in surviving or saving the champion or create a team fight but tell your bonded champ you are going to throw him or else he would not know what he will do.
