The purpose of this guide is to help begginers become Pros with Kata in no time. Katarina is a great champion in my opinion and she can kill almost everyone with ease.

BEST SPELLS

Ignite Ignite is a must because of its healing reduction and true damage.

Flash Is great for Escapes or chases, you can flash through walls :D

Exhaust It is good for chases but i prefer Flash over it

Ghost Can be good at chases or escapes.

Cleanse It can be helpful vs champs like Fiddlesticks or Viktor

Barrier It helps when you initiate with Death Lotus (Ulti) or try to stay alive

ELO HELL

Heal Seriously, Heal can tottaly ruin Spellvamp for you or Lifesteal for your allies. It can also be f**cked up by Ignite

EASY

Anivia Anivia is easy to play against. Her stun can destroy you but if you manage to dodge it with Shunpo then it's over for Anivia. Now, about her egg, if she dies under the turret, DON'T DIVE.

Master Yi Ap Yi is considered hard due to his burst with Alpha Strike (Q) and his heal with Meditate (W). Champions like Yi is the reason Ignite is useful. Igniting him can ruin his meditate and then he is easily taken down. If you dont have ignite available, it's ok. Death Lotus has a healing reduction effect just like ignite that will ruin him too

Karthus Karthus is not hard at all acctually. Dodging his Q is kinda easy because of its "channeling" . Even if you do the Q E W R combo you can Shunpo away from him so he can't damage you even after death !! Cool isn't it. Now his ulti is a different story...

Lux Seriously, the only thing that counters Lux is boots. She only has Skillshots which are easy to dodge, but if she catches you with snare , it may be the end. Her damage is really high but she can die in no time too.

Kata is a melee champion so she isnt that good at farming without receiving some damage. If your enemy is someone like Ahri she will use her Q to prevent your farm. You can easily with a range farm though because of your Q .

When enemy is absent from the lane,Farming with Katarina is extremely easy since she her Bouncing Blades (Q) and Sinister Steel (W) Hit multiple Targets. You should throw down a Q and then Shunpo to a Minion . After that use your W and most of the minions are dead
