Hi, i'm a plat main top playier, i could be higher but i dont play much ranked since i'm a fisic-engineer and i need to study. Alot( D: ). I haven't played kayle alot in ranked because there were better choices so far, but recently i'm liking more and more this champ due to his numerous pros, and above all, because it's a strange pick that noone expects, so it's even more powerful.

This is my first guide, maybe i did something wrong, tell me and i'll correct it :)

You want to be the aggressor early game, with 3/4 'e' al lv 1/2/3 you'll be able to get your opponent to half hp even if he's a tanky champ (ty passive) , so i strongly reccomend to go for an aggressive page of runes.

Remember that you're the aggressor, so you want to play 21/9/0 and hybrid it's clearly the best choice in most mu, even in the most difficult ones, because they scale better in late then 9/21/0 anyway.

You may consider to go 21/0/9 , chose this configuration if you counter your opponent, to push your advantage over him, (imagine facing a warwick) . In other wards, if you think your opponent won't be able to fight you back when trading. this setup will increase your offensive capabilities at the cost of being more vulnerable. Definitely a viable choice that depends on the mu.

Let's talk about the core items first:

Blade of the Ruined King : now that you can build it from Recurve Bow , and with the changs for that item it's seems really a good option for Kayle, it can shred those tanky champ the meta is full of now, provides some lifesteal and great pushing capabilities, both on waves and towers

Liandry's Torment : it seems a strange pick up but this item is really powerfull vs tanks, provides some hp (really valuable mid game) magic pen again, and remember that the proc applies to E Righteous Fury splashes too.

Now that you've got some hp you need resistances: Frozen Heart provides all stats you need, the 20% cdr to spam your E, armor, good passive, and mana to sustain with Divine Blessing on cooldown . Wit's End will increase your ability to melt tanks and gives you more procs of BOTRK, and a really good amount of mr, that stacks well with liandry's hp.

The Boots' choice depends on the enemy: there's not a choice good in general, but kayle loves cdr and as so if youre fed go for that, otherwise go for a more defensive setup.

The last items really depends on your team comp, the enemy one, and on who's fed.
if you dont have an initiator jungler or suppport go for Turbo Chemtank ; visage/ randuin if ap / adc are fed; Trinity Force if you want more reach and more dmg, but you already have BORK active + Q . Black Cleaver if they have a really tanky team and your comp is ad mid and ad jungler.

Guinsoo's Rageblade is a really good item on offtank kayle, because you can't get bursted down, so you have the time to regen, also, the passive is very good too and sinergises well with kayle's kit. definitely a good choice if you're ahead or you just want to hardcarry your team. kayle can easly do that and this helps is solo q.

Always go Flash Teleport on this type of Kayle because you want to do a camp, get a ward and some potions (which they are, are depending on your lane) before you start laning, this will give you exp advantage and items advangage to better bully your opponent out of lane while being careful for ganks.
