Hi my name is Zyldjian and this will be my first guide. Please vote for what you feel it deserves! I played Kalista for 3 days straight no sleep when she came out to learn her mysteries :x! I thought she would only be useful in a duo lane... But then I thought, what if I brought her mid, bound with the jungler, and performed some outrageous plays/ganks! I tried it out and it is fun and works very well. WARNING: you do need a jungler that will coordinate with you and knows how Kalista works or this will not work.

Why no Runaan's? Why no BotRK? I believe Kali has enough attack speed with the build above, and I find her more of a bursty all out champion, not an auto attack back and forth shooter like cait, ashe, vayne, etc. No Runaan's, ok ok you want to spread rend around. FOCUS your target, your job is to seek out the enemy teams threat, and eliminate, not to spread your rends around. Focus fire is better. Runaan's goes in the trash.

Unique Skills

A skill and technique to learn with Kalista is spreading your rend stacks by last hitting with your Q. You can apply 3-4 stacks to a champion in lane by Q'ing a minion with 3 stacks killing it then hitting the champion. Instant 3 stacks. It takes time to learn the aiming, damage, and precision down.
