Introduction
Heyhey! I'm RaptorInMotion and this is my first ever build that I have created.
This guide focuses on probably my favourite Champion so far,
Kha'Zix. After playing him for about a week now, testing other people's builds, I have come to realise that they are not getting the most out of this awesome predator. An assassin is all about getting in quick, doing the biggest amount of damage possible, and getting out.
My build focuses firstly on Attack Speed and Movement Speed, with Health and Attack Damage coming a close second.

A vicious Void predator,
Kha'Zix infiltrated Valoran to devour the land's most promising creatures. With each kill he absorbs his prey's strength, evolving to grow more powerful. Kha'Zix hungers most to conquer and consume
Rengar, the one beast he considers his equal.
When Kha'Zix crossed over into this world, he was fragile and ravenous. The animals he first encountered were too small to fuel the rapid evolution he craved. Kha'Zix focused his hunger on the most dangerous creatures he could find, risking his life to satisfy his need. With each kill he feasted and changed, becoming a stronger, faster predator. Kha'Zix soon chased his prey with unrestrained aggression, believing he was unstoppable.
One day, while savouring a fresh kill, the predator became the prey. From cover a creature pounced in a blur of fangs and steel, tackling him to the ground. It roared in his face slashing and clawing, and Kha'Zix felt his blood spill for the first time. Screeching in fury, he sliced at the brute's eye driving it back. They fought from sunset to sunrise. Finally, near death, they reluctantly separated. As his wounds closed, Kha'Zix burned with anticipation at the idea of devouring one who could match the Void's strength. He resumed his search for powerful prey with renewed vigour. Someday, Kha'Zix will feast on Rengar.

THE BRO'S PRO'S
THE DON'S CON'S
- Firstly, he looks epic!
- Great at surprising people by jumping in.
- Lots of runaway/chasing abilities.
- Can be good at all stages of the game.
- Champions are generally scared of him.
THE DON'S CON'S
- Pretty weak health-wise at the start.
- Have to be continually on the move.
- Need's a companion nearby most of the time.
"Why did he choose those Masteries?" you may be asking. Worry no more, look below for all the answers.
Offensive
-
Summoner's Wrath : As you will be taking
Ignite, it's gonna be giving you 5 added Attack Damage (AD) after its been used, exactly what we need. Not a fan of
Ignite? No worries,
Ghost and
Exhaust are also improved for getting in and out quickly.
-
Brute Force : An added 3 AD. More is better.
-
Alacrity : Fully focusing on Attack Speed (AS), this is a must. Not only does it do damage quicker, it scares people, sending them running, leaving them open.
-
Weapon Expertise : As the levels rise, people rely on armour to defend them. 10% armour penetration should make them sweat a little.
-
Deadliness : AD! Moar moar moar! By level 18, you will have 9 more sweet points.
-
Sunder : Bit more Armour Penetration (AP) to make those tanks sweat even more.
Sorcery: Though 4% doesn't seem like a lot, having your abilities ready quicker than them can mean life or death.
-
Executioner : Dealing the last blow and shattering their dreams even quicker than before. More kills and gold for you!
Defensive
-
Resistance : Basically just to make up points on the tree, whilst also giving you a bit of protection from those pesky magic dealers.
-
Hardiness : Our health is fairly low in the beginning and any kind of protection is vital to the "getting out" phase in an assassination.
-
Durability : Again, protection.
-
Veteran's Scars : The mother of health masteries. Enjoy your extra life!
"Runes? What are those? I'm confused..." Don't fret, look below to see what they are all about.
Runes

Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage: When your in there, this is the added AD to really take it to them, and HARD.
Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction:
Kha'Zix relies fairly heavily on his abilities for getting in and out quickly, and also for his extra AD for
Taste Their Fear. Having these available quicker will make your job much easier, and their lives harder.
Greater Mark of Attack Speed: Dealing damage at a devastatingly quick rate is our main goal for this build and this will give you 15% extra AS. Scary!
Greater Seal of Attack Speed: More AS. People may expect an increase in our AS, but a double dose? Unexpected, and a speedy death for them.

Alternative

"So what exactly can Kha'Zix do?" I hear your plea and I offer you some fact and some opinion below.
Passive

Passive
Unseen Threat: One of the best passive abilities out there, giving some extra AD and slowing the enemy slightly. Obviously to keep hidden, keep using the bushes or activate the Void Assault ability.
Taste Their Fear {Q} : This is your main attack as its where most of your damage will come from. Attack isolated targets as much as possible with this, especially early game, because it does A LOT of bonus damage.
Void Spike {W} : A blessing to Kha'Zix, you can do ranged damage. Great for Crowd Control (CC) at both early game and late game and for farming minions. Using it in close proximity, to keep away close chaser's for EG, gives a handy health boost.
Leap {E} : You will be mostly using this mid to late game, when your Leap distance is much larger and can chase/escape much easier. Using this a lot early game can lead to getting yourself in a bit of trouble if ganked/surrounded. Try landing square on the enemy for maximum damage.
Void Assault {R} : Your ultimate! It is basically used for escaping/chasing, giving you 40% extra movement speed. You can cast this twice within a 10 second limit so if you fail to catch your prey, you have another chance.
"So how can I use him effectively?" Here's how I do it.
The right sequence really depends on the situation you find yourself in. However, you should mostly find yourself chasing people down so:
W~E~Q~R~~~Q
Starting off with
Void Spike generally ensures the enemy keep their distance. They will either come at you, therefore giving you more health, or run away, giving you your opportunity. Jumping in using
Leap closes the gap and does damage straight away. Then hitting them with
Taste Their Fear does your main bulk of damage. If they are alone, your doing a lot of bonus damage here. They will now start to jet off with their escapes but hitting
Void Assault will close that gap back up quickly and finish them off with auto-attacks and spamming Q to do big damage.
The kill should be yours! (Unless someone else STEALS IT!)

So, every time you upgrade the level of
Void Assault, you get the option to 'evolve' one of your abilities.

- Evolve Claws: This gives you more AD and better range for your auto-attack. I evolve this one second because more damage is good early game.
- Evolve Spikes: I would say this is one of the most useful evolves as it covers a much larger distance for CC and keeps people away from your squishy body early game. I evolve this first. It is also great for much easier minion kills and gold collection.
- Evolve Wings: Gives you a far greater Leap distance for much easier escapes/chases and it resets the cooldown if you get a kill with it. I do this third as jumping further in mid-game is far more rewarding for Kha'Zix as you become stronger.
- Evolve Active Camouflage: Gives you a third chance to catch up with people and reduces damage by 40% while stealthed. I tend not to evolve this as I already have so many options for escaping/chasing.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT evolve an ability in the middle of a fight. You will stand still for 2-3 seconds while it's evolving and will be vulnerable to attack.
You can earn yourself a FOURTH evolve point to use. However, you must be up against
Rengar with the item Bonetooth Necklace, you must be level 16+ and kill/get an assist on Rengar.
