First of all, I want to say the Berserkers Greaves is a complete bait item on Kindred. Buy Plated Steelcaps or Mercury's Treads depending on your Jungle matchup. Even though Kraken slayer does no longer give any crit chance, it is still the best first item for Kindred since the item matches her kit very well. The 3 item core in the folloing order is: Kraken Slayer , The Collector , Infinity Edge. After those 3 items are completed, the item creativity begins and you start to otpimize your build depending on the game. Generally your fourth item is either Rapidfire Cannon or Lord Dominiks Regards. RFC is good if you need to kite enemies, move faster in fights or if you are against squishier enemy champions. LDR is good if enemies has a lot of armor and if you are safe to hit enemies without needing the extra movement speed from RFC. If you need movement speed but want or more teamfight focused item, if for example enemies like to walk around as 5 or 4 a lot. Then Ruunans Hurricane is a good item. If you play against a team where their healing is annoying, you might want to consider buying Mortal Reminder 4th or 5th. Perhaps youre up against a fed Aatrox top, or enemies has a Soraka support. Once you got 100% Crit chance I would recommend rounding out your build with either Bloodthirster, Guardian Angel or Maw of Malmortious. The choice depends on your personal preference aswell as the game.

When do you want to go the On-Hit build?

The On-Hit build scales pretty linearly and is good at every part of the game. You want to go this build if you are up against an AP champion in the Jungle that can get on top of you pretty easily. This is also a good alternative build if your team during draft ends up lacking frontline or champions that can peel for you. This build is very good at not getting oneshot by champions lategame and is a good build if you want to focus on staying alive. You might think that you deal much less damage with this build in comparison to the Crit build. But this is the definition of a 1v9 build. The survivability aswell as the reliable damage makes this build extremely lethal.

Examples of champions this build is good against is: Karthus, Evelynn, Elise, Diana, Ekko, Taliyah, Morgana, Fiddlesticks, Lillia and Brand.

Against AP champions that does not have large threats to get onto you, or champions that get countered by Kindred, such as: Udyr, Nunu or Rumble, going the Crit build is still good.
