You should consider getting GA or BV or QSS because you don't have much survivability.

I love it how no one realizes MBR is more than a proc. It gives 40 AD and AS, and even a touch of armor (admittedly, not much use here). Madred's gives half the AD of IE, as well as 40% of Kog's huge base AS. That AS helps your damage nearly as much as IE's passive does (unless 2 PD's). Some guides say it prompts MR stacking, and should not be bought because of it. GOOD. Every 1 point of MR they stack is draining the armor they could be stacking to cope with your >320 AD something like 2x per second, not including crits. MBR gives some of the best base stats an ADC could possibly ask for, and to give it arguably the best unique passive in existence just salts the wound. So it's expensive. So what? It is, after all, a late game item.

That is not to say Kog should not get both. Glass cannon FTW! Epic range + broken damage = WIN! If they get close enough to hit you, you are doing something wrong. Red Buff should stop non-Yi's from coming anywhere near you (and even Yi should not get more than 1 shot off). Oh, and the ratio on your ult is not low. It is actually pretty high. 0.5 X 225% to champs! Over 1.0 scaling is nothing to scoff at.

Great guide, I just needed somewhere to rant. Do the math (I only have estimations), and you will realize how right you are to include both IE and MBR.

Honestly, I'm not sure whether or not to build a Madred's Bloodrazor on Kog'Maw. It is true that the 10% HP damage ( Bio-Arcane Barrage and Madred's Bloodrazor) in total is nice, but I'd say that the madred's is more situational rather than a primary build.

If you were to build a Madred's Bloodrazor every game, there's always going to be a team-comp that doesn't have a whole lot of off-tanks or tanky people in general, rendering your 10% damage useless; making the Infinity Edge more favorable. In games like those and you rushed for your Madred's Bloodrazor, you won't be doing significant damage to the AD-Carry, (Who you're supposed to focus, rather than the tanks) whom, most likely has a lot of life-steal due to Bloodthirster and Vampirism and can sustain the magic damage. You'll only do around ~190 damage from Madred's Bloodrazor and Bio-Arcane Barrage to a standard AD-Carry ~1.9k HP, however, if you built full AD, you'll have around 300-400 AD, and crit from 750-1000 damage, along with the on-hit effect of Bio-Arcane Barrage which is roughly ~114 damage to said character.

But since the Infinity Edge and the Madred's Bloodrazor costs fairly the same, roughly ~3.8k, you have time to analyze what to build depending on the team comp and what they're building, if you just buy a Pickaxe since both are built off of it.

All in all, good luck with the guide and looking forward to your updates! :)

Pretty correct, but your masteries are incorrect. the 3% lifesteal is way more useful than havoc. Havoc is a noob mastery. you only get 15 extra damage per 1000 damage dealt, which is completely useless. Also, you should consider 21/9/0. Going the 9 will give you improved heal, 6 armor, and approx 140 hp at level 18. If you insist on going 9 utility, why on earth wouldn't you take improved buff duration? .5% movespeed is not nearly as valuable as an extra 15(?)% duration on your red buffs.

Also, madreds is terrible on kogmaw. If you go IE build, which is correct, you should have no room in your build and no time to build a 4k gold piece of junk. I highly recommend that you replace it in your build with guardian angel. If you're really hard up for extra on hit effect, I've experimented with a wit's end after phantom dancer to extremely positive effects. It's half as expensive, and arguably does the damage. I'd rather be doing way more damage to their low hp carries than doing extra damage to their high hp bruisers/tanks.

tl;dr fix masteries, remove madreds, consider wits end, don't forget to mention green pots. Very effective to chug before objective fights.

Syther Blade, it is true that the second bloodthirster should be made optional and be replaced with last whisper, i will do that now. but you clearly have no read the description of this. its goal is to abuse Kog'maws massive range to kill enemies before they can reach you. it works as long as the criteria i mentioned at the start is followed. if its not, you should not use the guide.

a couple things wrong here. The second bloodthirster should be optional, not the Last Whisper. If you don't get Armor Pen than your useless if they build armor. Theres no Backup items at all, for example if I'm dying a lot then the Bloodthirsters will be pretty useless. No defensive item either, no GA or Banshee's. Some work needs to be done on this.
