Introduction
The insec needs no introduction. It is arguably the most famous lee sin combo out there, so mastering it is essential if you want to play lee sin well. Another trick with lee involves his ultimate. You can kick someone first, then immediately flash in any direction to alter the direction of the kick. This has to do with how league is programmed. The kick direction is not dependent on when the kick was executed but rather what position you are in when the "kick" part goes off. This means you can do sick combos like ward jump near your enemy, kick them in any direction, and then flash in the opposite direction of where you intend them to go.
This section of mechanics involve how to gank. As a jungler, a general rule is to not use your gap closer immediately. The same is true with lee sin. When ganking a lane, come from behind the enemy and do not use your q to initiate. Use your autos and e to slow the enemy. When the enemy uses flash, or their own escape, use ward jump and q to close the gap.
This section involves how to hit skillshots. When casting q on the enemy, if they are a somewhat decent player, they would probably actively try to dodge it. Therefore it is essential to be able to predict primary and secondary dodges. Primary dodges are classified as dodges in which the enemy can only dodge in one direction, and secondary dodges where the enemy has more than 2 directions whereby they can dodge the skillshot. With primary dodges it is easy. Just cast where they would dodge. But with secondary dodges, you must either flash or ward jump into a position where the enemy only has one dodge option.Using this method, you will hit a lot more skillshots compared to if you only casted where the enemy is or will be based on their current trajectory. At the top elos, a lot of it comes down to mind games as the person dodging will be thinking if the person casting the skillshot is trying to predict or not (most likely yes).

Path 1: This path is if you are going to farm up and get a lead early. Raptors to red to wolves to gromp to blue. This path will get you level 4 straight up. After this, you can either gank or take scuttle. Usually you would gank, because this would press the advantage. If no lanes are gankable, then tank scuttle. But this is less optimal since other pathings give you level 4 after this also, effectively giving away your temporary advantage.
Path 2: In this path, you are following the enemy jungler and meeting him in a countergank. Either blue to gromp to wolves to raptors to red, or red to raptors to wolves to gromp to blue, then meeting him in a countergank. It is recommended take scuttle after this to hit level 4. If you are facing an enemy jungler who is slow at clearing, you can also counterjungle his camps and buffs after this.
Path 3: This is for the cheesy players out there. In this path you go buff to wolves to your other buff. This is the fastest route to level 3 after they removed the golem experience. Since lee sin has very fast clear speeds, and even faster than usual with our runes and masteries, you will be able to gank top way before the enemy jungler, if they are doing a usual clear route. This is a high risk high reward playstyle. If you don't get off a successful gank, you are quite behind. This is equivalent to the immortal sentry all in in starcraft.
Path 4, quick 6 nocturne style: NOT RECOMMENDED... that's why I put is last. You will die to camps if you are not mechanically in top shape. Raptors to golems to wolves to gromp then recall and take red to raptors to golems to wolves to gromp and to blue. This should be around 6 mins into the game and you will hit level 6 after blue buff. The raptors to golems route is quite difficult for lee sin since he does not have the same aoe clear as nocturne, and therefore requires good kiting and good jungle clear knowledge to pull off successfully. This is overall pretty troll so... If you feel like trolling like me, go for it. Just don't troll yourself and get executed, that's just embarrassing.

When playing lee sin, you must think along the thoughts of 19th century Danish philosopher Soren Kierkegaard. In his treatise Either/Or, he classifies three kind of persons: the aesthete, the moralist, and the religious. The aesthete lives for pleasure, although in the case described in the treatise it is more of intellectual pleasure than immediate physical pleasure. But that eventually turns out empty. Even so, morality for morality sake, is also a vexation in life. Then comes the religious sphere. In the view of Kierkegaard the religious sphere is in my opinion also empty. He talks a lot about perfectionism in relation to existentialism. All in all, it is works based, and no man can save himself.
How does this relate to playing lee sin? You must realize the emptiness of league and the vanity of elo gain. Only in this way would you truly be freed to enjoy the game and improve as a player; especially on someone as mechanically challenging as lee sin. And perhaps through despair, you will seek after something that is beyond mere entertainment.

In conclusion, lee sin is a versatile highly mobile champion who dominates in the early game. In this style of play, you dominate early, while still having an impact later on in the game due to your runes and masteries, but more importantly, your own mechanical skills and game knowledge. When playing lee sin, you must always remember the existential philosophy of Soren Kierkegaard.
