It could be hard in early levels but Garen is a great farmer when you got Sunfire Cape , go in to the middle of the minions and start casting Judgement. It would be an easy and the best way to farm.

Team Work

If you dominate top lane feel free to start gank mid or counter jungle. After you hit level 6 it will be easy to chase and kill anybody. Jump in to them with Decisive Strike after that start casting Judgement. One of them will have %20 or maximum %30 of health just use your ulti and ignite to make finishing blow. In team fights you must lead the charge because Garen is too tanky enough to cover all damages for a while when you do that your teammates will be able to kill them :)

Unique Skills

If their jungle decides to come just wait for their abilities for making you slow and when you make sure of they're on cooldown just press Q and you will be fine :)
