Introduction
*sidenote: Hi guys I'm 0mega Prime, a silver player on the NA server and this is my first build on Mobafire so sorry for the lack of polish. I have been playing since the beginning of Season Two and enjoy creating unorthodox builds. I like to believe that my knowledge of the game is far stronger than my in-game ability, but its something I'm working on. I promise this isn't a troll build and hope you enjoy the guide.
1. You are above everyone. You don't take **** from people who think you are a troll. When they see you steamroll the enemy carries in under 2 seconds they will be real scurred of you.
2. Kills are meant for you. Don't be afraid to ks anyone on your team. Tell you team that its very important for you to reach full build as soon as possible. If they get mad or protest ask them politely to shut up and remind them that they are in the presence of a god.
3. You have burst and DPS (damage per second). Normally TF is a bursty AP mage that unleashes a huge burst and then has to wait a few seconds before his next damage spike. With this build you will constantly be chunking health bars with your on hit magic damage and therefore shouldn't be afraid to go balls deep. Going balls deep is what TF was meant for.
4. Always listen to the blues while playing LIGHTNING GOD TF. You are a Southern gentleman, not a dirty plebeian. I find that "When the Saints Go Marching In" is a good tune for a pentakill.
5. If your team started a team fight and you didn't end up getting a Pentakill then they aren't doing their jobs right.
6.
Statikk Shiv is the most OP item in the game. LIGHTNING IS TOO STONK AND NEEDS TO BE NERFED.

Pros
As you can see LIGHTNING GOD TF is practcally normal TF, but more awesome and has more LIGHTNING. He has most of the weaknesses that could be expected of a normal TF, but makes up for the slightly lower burst with LOADS of magical DPS. I have found that the amount of DPS and on-hit effects easily makes up for any loss of burst (which you still have a decent amount of (around 400+ Total AP)).
- Burst damage from
Wild Cards still present
- Huge Amount of DPS from
Lich Bane, Nashors Tooth, and
Stacked Deck
- Make it rain with your OP passive
- Game changing ult and Global Presence with
Destiny
- Insanely Strong Mid Game and Scales Well into Late Game
- Split pushes lanes like a boss, takes down objectives much faster than normal TF
- YOU'RE A MOTHER FUC*ING LIGHTNING GOD
- Not as mana reliant as normal TF
- PLAYING THIS BUILD WILL GET YOU LAID 100% GUARANTEED
Cons- Some people will think you're a troll and tell you to stop.
- Average early game-very item dependant
- Needs a player with map awareness skills
- Burst only works if you land your
Wild Cards (just like normal TF)
- Needs team to be decent peelers in teamfights in order to be effective
- You are just as squishy as normal TF
- You need to not suck at
Pick A Card and know which card to pick in which situation

GLYPHS-MOAR DMG.

WE PUT 9 IN DEFENSE TO ADD A BIT OF HP TO US AND TO MAKE SURE WE SURVIVE OUR AVERAGE LANING PHASE EARLY GAME.
WHY NO POINTS IN UTILITY? BECAUSE UTILITY IS FOR PEASANTS AND PLEBEIANS. YOU ARE A MOTHERFU**ING LIGHTNING GOD. ALSO IF YOU CAN'T PULL A BLUE CARD TO SAVE YOUR LIFE AND GET YOUR OWN MANA REGEN YOU SHOULD PROBABLY NOT BE PLAYING TF.

MAKE IT RAIN
Loaded Dice:You get bonus gold every time you kill a minion, champ, or jungle creep. It may not seem like much, but it adds up pretty quickly. It also benefits your entire team which is nice.
THUNDER CARDS(Q):
Wild Cards: Where you poke and burst come from. Not as important to LIGHTNING GOD TF as normal TF, but still provides TONS OF DAMAGE. Can be spammed mid and late game to properly punish your opponents if they try to initiate or farm. Your go to source for early game damage. USE THIS SKILL FOR PRO MLG SNIPES NO SCOPEZ HUEHUEHUE.
JUDGEMENT OF A LIGHTNING GOD(W):
Pick A Card: A synergy of both your burst and DPS. Nothing scares a carry more than being hit by
Pick A Card,
Lich Bane,
Stacked Deck, and a
Statikk Shiv and then exploding. Will allow you to stay in lane due to its mana regen ability from Blue cards. Learn the order well, Blue->Red->Yellow.This is one of the abilities that makes or breaks a TF player.
EXPLOOOOSIONNNNNSSS(E):
Stacked Deck: Your LIGHTNING GOD TF'S bread and butter. Once you get your
Runaan's Hurricane this spell will charge up so FUC*ING FAST(unfortunately only affects one target with the proc). Combined early game with
Nashor's Tooth the damage from this ability can be pretty insane and will only continue to get better as you enter mid and late game.
EYE OF A GOD(R):
Destiny: Hand down one of the best ults in the game. Allows LIGHTNING GOD TF to give himself and his allies vision of all the enemy team and allows him to teleport to any place on the map 5500 units away. The advantage this ult gives your team is HUGE and has many uses. Use it to split push lanes, protect objectives, gank the enemy team, pull off masterful escapes, catch that idiot enemy jungler with their pants down, backdoor and bring in clutch wins, and to reveal those dirty little yordles hiding in bushes. DO NOT HOWEVER, I REPEAT DO NOT be one of those idiot TF's who teleport into the middle of an enemy team to initiate a team fight or try to pick up a kill. You are squishy as fuc*, will get bursted down in a flash, and need to let you team do the dirty work of peeling for you while you unleash your LIGHTNING JUSTICE upon the enemy team.

JUDGEMENT OF A LIGHTNING GOD(W):

EXPLOOOOSIONNNNNSSS(E):

EYE OF A GOD(R):

Take a point in
Pick A Card at level one to give yourself the utility needed for invading and counter invading. A one second stun is often enough for your team to secure first blood or to give yourself time to escape an invade of your jungle. After that max
Wild Cards first to max out your early game damage potential. Max
Pick A Card second to gain sufficient bonuses to all of your cards. Finally, max
Stacked Deck last because by the time you do, you should have
Runaan's Hurricane which will speed up the charge rate dramatically. Take a point in
Destiny whenever possible to ensure TOTAL map control.
Why not max stacked deck first? Because early game the damage from
Stacked Deck pales in comparison to
Wild Cards and you won't have the AP to deal significant damage with
Stacked Deck early on. Once your damage spikes with
Rabadon's Deathcap then the damage will be more prevalent.
Your main combo should look something like this:
Pick A Card->
Wild Cards->
Stacked Deck Repeat
Usually lock down your target with a gold from
Pick A Card and immediately follow up with
Wild Cards. Don't forget that since you're playing LIGHTNING GOD TF you start to really gain a large amount of DPS once you've obtained
Nashor's Tooth and
Lich Bane. In scenarios with more than one enemy it can be more beneficial to pull a red
Pick A Card. When using
Destiny keep in mind that you can start
Pick A Card while you are teleporting to your destination. Your main gank combo is pretty similar to your normal one:
Destiny->
Pick A Card->
Wild Cards->
Stacked Deck->AUTO ATTACK THEM TO DEATH WHILE ADDING IN
Wild Cards AND
Pick A Card WHEN AVAILABLE.

Starting Items
or
I usually start
Boots and 4
Health Potion's because it gives you the ability to dodge potential skillshots late game and to close the gap if need be over your lane opponent. If you're feeling cocky Riot recently nerfed the cost of
Doran's Ring so if I know that I'm going to stomp early game I might take that and 2
Health Potion's as an alternative starting set.
First Back
MOAR AP. ALSO A TINY BIT OF HP.
EVEN MOAR AP. CD IS GOOD FOR SPAMMING
Wild Cards
I like to get a second
Doran's Ring because it gives decent status all around and will later benefit
Nashor's Tooth. Start heading towards
Nashor's Tooth starting with
Fiendish Codex which will benefit all your skills and to add more punch to your
Wild Cards.
Core
First
AND SO IT BEGINS
Then Get These Bad Boys (order is up to you)
OH LOOK CARDS EXPLODING EVERYWHERE
MAGIC PURPLE SWORD
By mid game you should have all of these items and your opponent's and allies will realize that you're not ****ing around and will begin to wonder how the hell LIGHTNING GOD TF is actually working.
Nashor's Tooth gives you everything you need in this build (AS, AP, CD) and will start to add some punch to your auto-attacks. After that decide between picking up
Runaan's Hurricane or
Lich Bane.
Lich Bane will offer you more in terms of burst damage and is more effective on single targets. I usually get
Runaan's Hurricane first to take advantage of the damage from
Nashor's Tooth and because one you get it your
Stacked Deck will charge hyper quickly and begin to shred both minion waves and your opponents. That being said it's really up to your preference to decide which you want to pick up first.
Late Game
TO MOVE FASTER AND PENETRATE DEEPER
MOAR AS(S) AND DPS. ALSO ITS PURPLE
HOL SH** DMG SPIKE
I.AM.A. LIGHTNING GODDDDDDDDDDD
Only pick up
Sorcerer's Shoes if your opponents are getting way from you and maybe startin to build some MR. If they aren't and you are shredding them like SWISS CHEESE then fu** it yolo and head straight to
Wit's End which is awesome because it offers you more magical DPS and also pisses off your AP opponent huehuehue. Once you pick up
Rabadon's Deathcap your damage will soar through the roof and you will be able to shred through pretty much anything like it's going out of style. This will dramatically increase both your DPS and burst damage. And last, but not least
Statikk Shiv. This is the item that defines LIGHTNING GOD TF. WHEN YOU REACH FULL BUILD AND HIT AN ENEMY WITH A
Statikk Shiv,
Wit's End,
Lich Bane,
Nashor's Tooth,
Stacked Deck, and
Pick A Card auto attack they will sh** their pants in fear. AND YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT. FU** YOUR BOOTS. SELL THEM TO GET
Statikk Shiv BECAUSE IT'LL LET YOU MOVE FAST TOO. ALSO YOU TELEPORT SO LEAVE THE WALKING TO THE PLIEBS.
Options to Consider
MOAR PURPLE STUFF. KILLS TANKY PLEBEIANS GOOD.
ALL OF THE SPELL VAMP AND LIFESTEAL. TRUE LIGHTNING GODS NEVER DIE
TONS OF DMG. SPEED AND SLOWS.
DYING TO FAST? THEN GET THE ROD OF A LIGHTNING GOD

Options to Consider

The strategy here is pretty much the same as normal TF because you start out buying the same first few items with you
Doran's Ring's and
Boots. Be sure to use sight wards in your side bushes and near the enemies wraith camp to give yourself some protection and to give your own jungler opportunities to counter jungle with ease. When in lane don't be afraid you can try and deny your opponent CS by picking a gold
Pick A Card and just running at them.
During the early game you should focus on acquiring as much CS (creep score) as possible in order to reach your eary game goals of
Nashor's Tooth and
Runaan's Hurricane or
Lich Bane. A good goal for LIGHTNING GOD TF is to reach around 150-200 CS around the 20 min mark.
During early game don't forget to look for easy opportunities to roam especially once you hit 6 and get
Destiny. Once you have
Destiny you should keep an eye on the mini-map at all times to see opportunities to gank and counter-gank for your team. Before leaving lane give it a shove with
Wild Cards. When ganking hit them with the gank combo, prioritizing the carry first in most cases.

This is where you start to begin showing signs of your ascension to godhood.
By now both your allies and enemies should be saying like "OMG WTF WHY IS YOUR STUPID BUILD WORKING" and you should be able to start smiting fools across the map. Communicate with your team on getting Dragon and if you've got the balls necessary you can even start to try and take jungle from the enemy team.
Keep an eye on the map and know when to split push the lanes with
Pick A Card and
Wild Cards. LIGHTNING GOD TF has a much faster wave clear time than normal TF and by mid game will be able to push down towers fairly quickly, perhaps as if not faster than your ADC.
Keep the enemy scared with your

Your power is unmatched now, congrats you are the most OP fu**ing champ in the entire game.
As with normal TF, split pushing is one of your best options although this can sometimes be changed by your team composition. An uninterrupted LIGHTNING GOD is a terrifying LIGHTNING GOD so use this to your team's advantage to secure other objectives and/or to grab Baron. Find opportunities to find an opponent alone and out of position and then quickly kill him with your standard combo and insane auto attack procs.
Keep in mind that you still have the burst necessary to siege enemies at turrets with
Wild Cards and can usually give your team a significant advantage prior to a teamfight.
Most importantly, late game is the time you get your
Statikk Shiv and truly become LIGHTNING GOD TF. LET THE ENEMY TEAM TREMBLE BEFORE YOUR DIVINE POWER AND THEN RAIN HELL DOWN UPON THEM LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW. FUN FACT,
Runaan's Hurricane's additional bolts speed up the
Statikk Shiv generation. WHICH MEANS MOAR LIGHTNINGGGGGGGG.

As the LIGHTING GOD aka AP Carry you should never be the first one int a team fight. You have to leave the frontlines to your allies and use them s cannon fodder to ensure the enemy team receives the full power of your divine might.
Have your team peel for you when needed and prioritize your damage onto the highest threat to your team and take them out as quickly as possible with your burst from

When using

Runaan's Hurricane combined with all your magic DPS. Also recognize the balance of red and gold
Pick A Card in teamfights. Gold is best used to lock down a single target for your team, while a red is best used to afflict a large number of enemies with soft CC and offers more damage over all.
