Welcome to this totally legit clickbait guide were I show YOU how to play Malph mid, when I can ill add more matchups and chapters but for now hope this guide helps you :).

My name is Al3xand3r44 and im a Malph main since almost all the existence off my account first maining Yi jg (I sucked really bad with him) and after that I discovered this rock, first I played Malph top but now I mainly play him mid and its really fun (after your laning phase).

Ferocity

In the Ferocity tree I take Sorcery because with Malphite mid you rely more on your abilities than on your AAs, Feast I take it for more sustain in lane, Natural Talent because you don't really need the lifesteal and the AP is more useful with Malphite mid,in the next tier you can get Bounty Hunter or Double Edged Sword , if you are confident you will kill the whole team at least once or dont feel confident with that 2.5 percent of more damage taken,then, take Bounty Hunter, if you feel confident with it and you want to secure that 5 percent damage then take Double Edged Sword.

Cunning

In the cunning tree you'll want to get Savagery so you can get more damage in those Q's,you can get Wanderer for better roaming but I prefer Savagery, next tier you can get either Secret Stash or Assassin I get Assassin for the damage but if you want more sustain in the early game and some of the mid game then take Secret Stash.After that I recommend you take Merciless for the good damage, you could take Meditation but I don't recommend it because I don't feel like it changes much.Next you can go with either Greenfather's Gift or Dangerous Game greenfathers give you more damage and Dangerous Game gives you more sustain, I personally take the damage but its you choice which do you want to get.In the fifth tier you can choose between Precision or Intelligence , precision gives you magic penetration (which is more damage) and Intelligence gives you more CDR, both are really good so this choice is up to you.Finally, in the final tier you'll always want to get Thunderlord's Decree so you can get those sweet ONE SHOT WOMBO COMBO that you want.

You'll want to max first your Q because its your main damage ability(after your ult of course), then you get your e which its your second damage ability and last your w which is just an AA buff its not much but it is really important too because with it you can last hit better (which is nice when you are farming under tower or plainly just shoving lane).

Like we almost all know is that Malphite's laning phase sucks ***(like Orianna, srsly **** her)so most of the matchups youll get shat on pre lvl 6, what you want to do is be passive and when your Seismic Shard has 2 points begin harassing your opponent, obviusly not so much cause your Q's has a really high mana cost so don't spam it.

If you are against a easy champ or the player playing X champ sucks(like Orianna) then you have to harass them and also trade with your combo which is Brutal Strikes+ Seismic Shard+ Ground Slam+AA, and then disengage,this is to proc thunderlords, keep in mind that if you took the mastery Greenfather's Gift you'll want to get to a bush to empower your Q's damage.

When you hit lvl 6 harass your the enemy champ a little and then COMBO WOMBO HIS *** with the combo being Brutal Strikes+ Unstoppable Force+ Seismic Shard+ Ground Slam+AA and if that didn't kill him you can secure it with Ignite.
Another time if you got Greenfather's Gift then you'll want to empower your ult with it so you can dish out more damage with it.
