Fast attack speed shreds Malzahar Into “OBLIVION!”, destroys your spell shield almost instantly and denies most of your damage unless you can land an ult on her (which is unlikely because she can outrange you)

You can do your ult combo and kill him, but his kill potential is just to high with his q dealing true damage.
Cho'Gath
Easy game if they suck, this goes for all champions but it mostly goes for cho'gath because of his zero movement options and low attack range
Jax
Jumps on you, stuns you, kills you, doesnt care about your ult, kills you anyways
Kha'Zix
Jumps on you and insta kills you, smart k6 players will break your spell shield before jumping on you and well, thats an insta-kill
Malphite
If he ults you without a spell shield its over, otherwise his slow MS makes him burn through his own hp while trying to chase you
Aatrox
Can shut them down pretty easily using your full combo and ult, take an oblivion orb for greavious wounds

Your spell shield blocks their ult and hook, can easily melt thru their hp with Liandry’s and Malignance, kite them while spamming your voidlings and its easy

High burst damage destroys Malzahar, Caitlyn also having a stun / root is also pretty terrifying, she outranges all your abilities.
Briar
You have 0 mobility, she has all of it, she can push you back, her ult hits multiple time s(means you cant block her ult using your spell shield) and she can run you down like you’re nothing.
Mordekaiser
He takes zero damage from you, even if you do, your DOT will just give him more shield, you have 0 mobility while he can drag you into his death realm for free buffs

Multiple dashes, insanely powerful scaling, can run you down y]like you’re a piece of paper
Kayn
Can out-burst you in the matter of seconds and chase you down, his ult makes you a free health pack
Sett
Very easy to kite and predict, you melt him pretty easily
Ahri
Charm, ult, high range, high mobility, all things Malzahar hates
Lee Sin
Fragile, ult him down whenevr you can and deny him of any play he might try to do
Yasuo
High mobility and lots of CC, ult can one shot you though it depends on how you play it.
Shen
Kite his abilities (especially his taunt) and melt him, his ki shield means nothing to you because you dont auto attack as malz anyways.
Viego

Shut him down with your full combo and ult quick, not too much hp
Thresh
Extremely high damage auto attack combines with cc (through his hook, ult and maybeflay i forgot) dont get anywhere near him
Riven
Ult her down quick using your full combo, dney her completely in teamfights and she gets instantly killed

You dont even need to ult him, h ejust gets melted by everything, dont chase
Corki
Powered up Valkyrie can absolutely me;t you, byt otherwise just run in, use your full combo and ult him down.
Yuumi
Q breaks your spell shield, she can passively backseat, heal and shield your opponent, otherwise she’s just a free kill lol.

Ult and Rengar gets a free kill and an easy way to land a full combo

Self explanatory, hook + knockup + ult and DOT / minions Is absolutely broken, both of them have silences so you can prevent them from flashing away.

Extremely good CC support, makes your enemies rethink their liives, also does decent dmaage
Diana
High damage and quick burst, can really carry matches for you if youmplay your ult right

Let me just say something, whoever gets ulted by J5 and immediately after gets ulted by Malzahar deserves a hug.

Ulting the enemy carry as Corki Valkyries\’s in a fight and machine gun downs the enemy bruisers is good but not the best
Maokai
His moves dont synergize well with malzahar but the root from his ult is decent when landing your full combo
Azir
The shuriman shuffle is good for setting up a Malzahar ult, otherwise its not that good
Gragas
Gragas ult is ok for set up, decent but not great
Kayn
You can ult enemies before Kayn goes in to set up for him
Shaco
Ult the enemy target and shaco can land free backstabs and puppet shots, easy damage and shut down.

Free ult shots, permastun and high damage

Both of your ults are EXTREMELY good together
