Interesting build for a Yi, looks like a funner way to play than the standard In -> Whack -> Whack -> Whack approach. will give it a try when I can.

+ 1, Vicarious Vision

i play AD master yi and i feel the same as ikkit. berserkers greave early game prevent old squishy yi from being ganked **note**- i always prefer berserkers on yi that extra attack speed early leads to more gold from creep farming.. and along with his comment on alpha strike. yeah, its 140 early game. but after that alpha where is your damage then? pop wuju then hit them a few times? you have no AD. i feel the build is good to try out the different play stiles as yi, but i do reccomend you get those boots early. i would also replace the narshors tooth with a phantom dancer, attack speed, movement speed, crit strike chance- hell yeah.

and your 21st point in defense is a must! i would take a point out of hardend skin for the final point in defense bc yi + improved ghost = ultimate chaser. add a youmuus ghostblade into that mix somewhere. and you rape. plus the youmuus would add to your AS, Cooldown reduction, and crit.

you took it way too seriously! i just posted this for a fun tryout, not for serious or MEGA serious play, though it IS viable.

AP Yi is very effective if used correctly. I would change Nashor's to a first priority item. Because AP is very weak early game the AS from the daggers will benefit you more when you start. This will also make Alpha Strike more spamable earlier. This helps greatly in early harrasing. Also for Hybrid Yi, Hextech Gunblade is a must have. Where is it? Zhonya's Ring is great, but you will benefit much more from Gunblade imo

mate I have to give you two thumbs up for trying to make an interesting build and another strategy with Master Yi. I believe this build might be good until up to certain point in the game when Yi doesn't rely much on Alpha Strike, after a while Alpha Strike becomes more of a chasing enemy mechanism than a source of damage. I still stick to the DEWO's point of view which is when Yi plays up to its most and best, therefore I give you a -. Because your build doesn't work in a balanced game when everybody knows what they're doing. Its only experimental in random matches with some players that don't understand much of the game that this build of yours might shine.
But if you are tired of the old Yi and wanna try this, shouldn't be hard to master. this is the kind of build that will take master yi to be a teamplayer and not a solo player as he usually is.

No ofenses mate, I would have given you a + for effort and - for reliable.

I still think DPS Yi is more viable, but theres one factor that makes this post epic: the fun! its much more fun to use your skills in a diff way then just E+R+Right click D:
