SCROLL DOWN FOR DETAILED MATCHUP INFORMATION I prefer Conqueror but you can also take Grasp. Start W. Let him push the wave to your side of the lane. Don't even stand next to him because he can cancel your hookshot with his E and then you're dead. If he pulls you first, then auto him for your passive shield and hookshot away. If your jungler camps top he's a pretty free kill. Even if he lives and burns his ghost it removes a lot of kill threat he has on Camille. If your jungler never comes you pretty much lose unless he messes up a lot. If you mess up one time you're dead lol. If you manage to be relatively even in gold and you have the conqueror rune + trinity force while he has stridebreaker you can kill him. Wait for him to waste Q, then all in him with hookshot and dodge his next Q with your R. He should die.

You can then choose from

Conditioning scales the hardest out of these three runes. If you are confident you will win the early game, you can this rune.
Second Wind can be useful in a poke-heavy matchup where you will be taking a lot of small trades.
Bone Plating is very useful in matchups where the enemy champion has to all-in you instead of taking short trades.
Last in the

Overgrowth helps you not get one shot as it gives you more HP.
Revitalize increases your shielding on Camille's passive and increases healing from
Ravenous Hydra and other healing sources.
Unflinching can be useful if the enemy team has a lot of hard CC that you can't dodge with
Hextech Ultimatum.
Many of the secondary rune options synergize well with Camille, but a lot of high ranked

Conqueror Runes
Conqueror helps you win extended trades and is great for all ins.
Triumph helps you make tower dives and go for plays that wound't work without the health rebate. The
life steal from
Legend: Bloodline and omnivamp from
Ravenous Hunter allows the second part of
Camille's Q,
Precision Protocol, to heal her for a large amount because
Precision Protocol deals true damage. This
life steal /omnivamp combo makes Camille deceptively tanky IF she is able to deal damage. It also allows her to stay out on the map, getting more experience and gold to help her carry.
Last Stand helps
Camille's dueling and synergizes with the
life steal .
Taste of Blood is great in lane and helps you scale up. The healing is deceptive and can catch people off guard.

COMBOS KEY
Q1 = Part 1 of

Q2 = Part 2 of

Q = just spam Q (don't wait for Q2
Q minion = Q1 on a minion for movement speed and to charge Q2
THE BREAD AND BUTTER -- aa-Q1-aa-Q2

THE SHORT TRADE -- aa-Q-Q

You'll often times be doing this short trade in lane. Waiting for the Q2 takes too long in certain matchups. Your shield will expire and you'll take a lot of minion aggro or return damage from the enemy champion. So just take the short trade; it still does a lot of damage.
THE DOUBLE Q -- Q-Q

Some matchup like

THE POKE AND OUT -- Q minion-E-aa-Q2-W

Careful not to use this past the river if their jungler is topside, otherwise you just used your escape ability and now you're dead. Otherwise it's the best way to poke without committing to a fight.
THE NO HOOKSHOT POKE AND OUT -- Q minion-W-aa-Q2

Another good way to poke if they have no way to retaliate. If they do, and the movement speed from Q2 isn't enough to run away you can

THE NO HOOKSHOT POKE AND OUT -- Q minion-W-Q2(Part 2)

Often, good players will prevent you from getting an auto attack between you W and Q2, so this is a shorter version of the previous combo.
THE ALL IN -- E+W-aa-Q1-R-aa-aa-Q2

THE FADEAWAY - E away-Q

The fadeaway.

MY ADVICE

LANING PHASE

TEAMFIGHTING

In 5v5's your main job is to kill their carries, then focus the tankier champions after. However, good teams will be looking out for you to come into them. For example, a

Start W.
Take Grasp or Conqueror w/ second wind.
Start Doran's shield or Corrupting pot.
Build triforce or Divine sunderer.
You can take ignite/teleport.
Level 1 take whatever cs you can and W him in return after he Qs you. The wave should be shoving towards you, take E level 2 and look to hookshot onto him for a small trade with your passive. When hookshotting onto him, make sure to kill his barrels first, if you don't you'll likely lose the trade. Try to use a normal auto on the barrel (do not Q the barrel).
Start W or Q.
Take Grasp or Conq.
Start Doran's blade.
Build triforce or divine sunderer.
Take flash/teleport.
There should be no way Garen wins this matchup. You can start Q or W in this matchup. If you start Q, press Q before autoing him as he goes for his Q auto. If you do a normal auto attack his Q damage will go through before your passive can shield you. So just do a Q1, auto, Q2 and back off and get level 2 first, level up E, go on him and you might burn a flash. If you start W, you can let him Q you, auto him for a shield to block minion aggro, and W him as you guys back away. Try to only trade with your passive up and you pretty much win every trade. W him to keep his passive down. He's an easy target to hookshot because he has no dashes. The only way he kills you is if he flash + ignite + Q + E + Rs you while your shield is down and you're at half hp so be careful when he has flash up and you're at half hp. You shouldn't really be at half hp in this matchup thought because he can never really get onto you and you hard counter him.
Start W.
Take Grasp or Conq, both with approach velocity.
Start Doran's blade.
Build trinity force or divine sunderer.
You can take ignite/teleport.
Level 1, W him off cooldown. If he's autoing you at all the wave should push to you. Level up E level 2 and go on him for a small trade. If he jumps away with his E that's fine just walk away. His E is on a 22 second cooldown so while your E is coming off cooldown he'll be zoned. If he walks up in hookshot range just E onto him and all in him if his Gnar bar isn't close to full. If he's playing safe and away from the walls and far from minions while he's waiting for his e to come off cooldown, use that time to this out the wave to try to keep the wave on your side of the lane . If you take approach velocity + biscuits you'll have enough mana to W him constantly and the movement speed from approach velocity to burn his E without using your hookshot with a q-minion W Q2 combo.
Start Q, W or E.
Take Grasp or Conqueror.
Start doran's blade.
Build trinity force or divine sunderer.
Take ignite/teleport.
If she's bad and walks up next to you to cs start Q. If she's playing somehwat back start W. But you can look to start E and hookshot onto her level 1. Her level 1 is really bad. Try not to get hit by her E while she's next to tentacles or you'll lose a lot of health. If you E on her while she has E off cd a good Illaoi can just E towards the wall where you're coming from for a guaranteed E and you'll lose the trade. If possible, try to keep the lane in the middle or on her side of the lane. This matchup becomes impossible if you're under your tower and she's constantly waveclearing and poking you under tower. And your jungler probably won't come if she has her R because she might take one of you guys down or maybe both. You can dodge her R with your R. Only time you can E in is when her E is down or if she doesn't have tentacles around her and if she doesn't have R.
Start Q.
Take Grasp or Conq (Conq if better for laning in this matchup).
Start Doran's blade.
Build triforce.
You can take ignite/teleport.
Try to get to lane first if you can. If she starts Q and Qs a minion level 1, just stand next to the low hp minion she's going for and give her an aa-Q-aa-Q2 . Just keep poking her if she goes for low hp minions so she can't stack up her passive for free. When the wave is pushing back to you, you have to be careful if she has two stacks of passive -- if she lands an E on you she basically gets full passive stacks after she uses Q and W or just Q Q's you. You will ALWAYS lose if she has 5 stacks UNLESS you are extremely far ahead in items/levels OR you have a huge health advantage. Just play safe as the wave is pushing back to you and while she has close to full or full stacks or her passive. Rush executioners calling if you don't have ignite. You can dodge her R with you R.
Start W.
Take Grasp.
Start Doran's blade.
Build triforce.
You can take ignite/teleport.
Level 1 stack up your grasp on the wave and pretend to auto him to bait out his E. If you manage to do that correctly you should still get damaged by the edge of his E but not take more than 1 auto attack. W him as he walks away to get your health back and look to auto him while his E is down. You can try to get level 2 first, but if it looks like he will get it first just back off the wave or he can just jump on you and your W won't be able to do anything and you'll take a very bad trade. If you do get level 2 first you can look to slow push the second wave and fast push the third for a cheater recall and try to freeze the wave on your side when you come back and force his teleport. Try to stay near walls so you can easily stun him and disengage if he tries jumping on you. Level 3 and on, the worst place for the minion wave to be is in the middle of the lane where you can't hookshot away (he can stun you and stop your hookshot) and he can jump on you for free so try to just be patient if the wave is pushing back to you and look to trade when you're closer to walls. Level 6 you can use your R to dodge his E stun. Make sure to R during the last bit of his E because most Jax players will have it casting for as long as possible to dodge as many auto attacks as they can. Usually whoever's jungler pressures this lane more usually wins but pure 1v1 is Jax favored level 3 and on. Jax wins pretty hard 1v1 late game so you can look to force plays if he's splitting with Camille's long range engage tools.
Start W.
Take Grasp or Conq.
Start Doran's blade or shield.
Build Triforce.
Take flash/teleport.
Level 1, W him after he autos you. Most Jayce players will slow push the wave so try to thin out the wave without taking too much damage so you can hit level 3 easily if your jungler comes and so you guys don't have to fight in a huge minion wave. Try and keep spamming W on him as the wave pushes towards you -- if he knows what he's doing he can hammer form Q into you when you cast W so make sure you're casting W in your minion wave so when he does Q onto you he'll take some minion aggro, then auto him once or twice as he backs away. When you're level 2 and the wave is pushing towards you, W him again and if he hammer form Q's onto you then knocks you away with his E look to hookshot onto him while his cooldowns are down. Doing this also forces his minions to aggro you so the wave doesn't push into as fast. Level 3 and on, if he ever switched from hammer form to cannon form, hookshot onto him if he is in range because he will not be able to switch back to hammer form and knock you away for a few seconds. Once you get triforce, as long as you don't get hit by too much of his poke you basically run over him. Late game you can look to split push and pressure a side lane.
Start W.
Take Conqueror.
Start Doran's blade or shield.
Build Triforce.
Take flash/teleport.
Level 1, you can take a little bit of poke and W her to get some of your health back. Just try not to get poked down too hard and you should be fine. Give up some cs if you need to in order to keep your health high. When you hit level 2 you can hookshot onto her for a short trade. It's REALLY hard to kill Karma because her whole kit is designed to kite melee champions. If she builds plated steelcaps and bramble vest it doesnt matter if you can't can't kill her because you can feel good about yourself that you aren't playing karma with plated steelcaps and bramble vest. Haha.. But really just farm until you have your trinity force and if your jungler comes she's pretty much dead unless she goes full tank. If she goes full tank you might want to get an early executioner's calling and know that you'll be way more useful than her later in the game.
Start W or E.
Take Conqueror.
Start Doran's blade.
Build triforce.
Take flash/teleport.
You can look to cheese a bush level 1. If she leashes and walks into the bush start E and auto her, when she's out of auto range hookshot onto her and keep autoing her. You pretty much win lane if this happens. Otherwise look to start E if she's close to a wall, you can hookshot onto her and you'll win auto attack trades. When you hit level 2 with your E start, level up Q level 2 if she's playing in E range and hookshot onto her and you might even kill her. In low elo, most Kayles don't play as safe as they should be and you can potentially rack up a lot of kills. If the Kayle is playing correctly though, you need to work with your jungler to potentially dive her or gank her while the wave is pushing back to you. Once she hits level 6 and you miss your E, she can just auto attack you as you walk back in shame. Look to hookshot onto her while her W is down, otherwise she will W while you E and gain a lot of distance away from you. In an all in, you want to R her R damage as it does a considerable amount of damage. If you jungler ever camps this lane and if you freeze the wave on your side of the lane then it's kind of doomed for her.
Start W.
Take Conqueror.
Start Doran's blade, shield, or corrupting potion.
Build triforce.
Take flash/teleport.
Spam W on him. Try not to get poked down too hard. If he ever wastes E then hookshot onto him unless he's baiting for his jungler. Keep track of how many of his passive stacks are on you before going in. If you have 2 stacks on you already then he can just add one more stack with his E and kite away. Try to go in when you don't have any stacks on you. I haven't play then matchup too often because kennen top isn't too popular anymore but just try to not get poked down early game, farm for your trinity force, build mercury treads, and you pretty much crush him 1v1. Look to split push late game then rotate to your team. You might want to consider taking approach velocity in this matchup because it will help bait out his E as you Q a minion into W and Q2 him.
Start W.
Take Conqueror.
Start Doran's blade.
Build triforce.
Take ignite/teleport.
Level 1, try to dodge his Q and auto the minion wave to try to get level 2 first. If he lands his Q, then walk up to him and auto attack him to get your shield so his Q damage will deal no damage to your hp bar. If you do take damage from his autos or his Q, W him to get your health back. BUT if you take damage from his Q, wait for the grievous wounds to wear off before W'ing him or you basically won't heal at all for your W because his grievous wounds is way better than a normal grievous wounds. if you get level 2 first, you can level up e and hookshot onto him for a short trade. Never hookshot onto him while his W is off cooldown or when his bar is close to full unless you are 100% sure you can kill him before he can remount. Kled relies on his opponents not knowing when he is going to remount in order to get kills. The reason you want to take ignite in this matchup is because it helps you with the all in before he remounts. If you happen to trade ignite for flash it's worth because ignite is on a much lower cooldown. Once you get triforce you win this matchup pretty hard. Ping your team when he's missing because if you're winning he will try to look for other plays outside of top lane to help his team. If you know this is happening just ping your team that he's missing and shove your lane to take turret plating or tower.
