Introduction to Elo Hell

You are about to lock in probably one of the worst 3 champs in the game designed currently as of December 2016. I'm going to keep this brief and get to the bread and butter of how morde in my opinion (based on his current abilities) is meant to be played. Mordekaiser is meant to be played as a one shot slam dunk master. You are meant to carry the game through clutch flash Q one shot plays. Always try to prepare 3rd Q and use Gunblade to assist.

-Ranged/Mage Champs = Dont play Morde against unless you are running it down top or mid.

Item Choices / Theorycrafting

In my opinion Gunblade into Triforce is the most optimal build. It is just like the yasuo effect where its not about the mana. Everything after those two items are based on game state or how good you can carry out. The nerfs to Rylai's is too huge for morde ontop of slow movement speed already.

*Do not buy Banshees Viel because it is counter intuitive to what morde is suppose to do.

Morde is very high skillcap with all of the ability and item management already ontop of stellar positioning you must have every fight just to go out even lol.

Most of these items are meant to promote high level play. Mercurial Scimitar makes up for banshees in too many ways + AD + Trinket like effects + Movement Speed.

**Items like Zhonya's or Thornmail are for heavy AD matchups or Zed :P but these are not optimal and force you to play defensive and be a soak tank which I believe morde has been changed FROM and is now the Dank Dunk Master.

Final Summary

You must play aggresive as Mordekaiser is originally a lane bully. The nerfs to him and Rylai's make him almost unplayable. Your job in all team fights is to target the easiest champ to one shot. Make sure to ward your bushes, maximize trades with your health/shield bar and steal blue/red if lane is being frozen or you are winning. Play for late game and group with team when asked but use them to bait people near bushes with no vision. Until Mordekaiser gets significant buffs I wish you all the best into *COUGH*feeding*COUGH* climbing.
