Introduction

This is my first guide ever to be completed. I will be going trough her spells, laning, mid, teamfights and champs to watch out for. Please leave some response on the guide.

So Morgana is what i like to call a semi-tank disabler. That means that it is a champion with hight health, decent damage and stuns, snares etc. Morgana is extremely fun to play and a fantastic teammate if played properly. She is able to keep enemies in place preventing them from escaping or to help her team get out of a loosing fight.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
- 2 disablers. A bind and a aoe stun.
- High survivability
- Decent ganker
- Strong early/mid game

- Creep farming like a BOSS

Cons:
- lack damage late game
- No real escape spells except for Q and ulti
- dependent on landing Q to get solo kills

Skills

Soul Syphon
Gives Morgana 35% spellwamp at max lvl. not much else to say about it

Dark Binding - Morgana releases a sphere of dark magic. Upon contact with an enemy unit, the sphere will deal magic damage and force the unit to the ground for a period of time.
Fires a bolt of dark energy towards a target location, binding the first unit hit to the ground for 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3 seconds and dealing 80/135/190/245/300 (+0.9) magic damage.

The description pretty much explains it. Hit the enemy and they will be bound in place. it has a fairly long range so it can be cast through walls. That is pretty usefull for sniping of low health enemies or to initiate a fight by the tower.

Tormented Soil - Infects an area with desecrated soil, causing enemy units who stand on the location to take continual damage.
Curses a large area for 5 seconds. Enemies on the cursed ground are dealt 25/40/55/70/85 (+0.2) magic damage and have their magic resistance reduced by 4/5/6/7/8 every second.

This is Morganas bread and butter early game. at around lvl 3 in this spell you can farm caster minions with it. it also deal rely good damage to enemy champions if you get a Q on them first. it also reduces magic resistance on anyone standing in it

Black Shield - Places a protective barrier around an allied champion, absorbing magical damage and disables until penetrated or the shield dissipates.
Places a shield around target friendly champion, absorbing 100/150/200/250/300 (+0.8) magic damage and preventing disables while the shield holds.
Lasts 5/5/5/5/5 seconds or until the shield has been depleted.

Black Shield is Morganas life saver. It makes you immune to all magic effects for 5 seconds. It can be used on yourself but more important it can be used on teammates that are effected by a warwic or Malzahar ulti, as it will end the stun on them. It is also an effective spell when fleeing as you cannot be slowed, stunned etc.

Soul Shackles - Latches chains of energy onto nearby enemy champions, dealing initial damage to them and slowing their move speed by 20%, and then echoing the pain 4 seconds later and stunning them if they remain close to Morgana.
Deals 175/250/325 (+0.8) magic damage to nearby enemy champions and slows their movement speed by 20% for 4 seconds. Additionally, if Morgana stays within 600 range of the targets for the full 4 seconds, they are dealt an additional 175/250/325 (+0.8) magic damage and become stunned for 1/1.5/2 second(s).

Soul shackles is every champions nightmare. it slows, deals massive damage and eventually stuns everybody inside it's range. This is what makes Morgana fearsome in teamfights as it allows you to 1: stun the whole team or 2: prevent enemy champions from escaping. Also this should give you firstblood mid if somebody else haven't got it already.

Runes

I take these because it goes well with Morganas W tearing enemy champions magick resistance to pieces.

Greater Seal Of Replenishment
I take these so i am able to stay longer in the lane spamming my W to get as many last hits as possible without running out of mana.

Ability power = Damage... i think you now where i'm going

I take these for the health early game is it can ensure you the firstblood and make sure you doesn't end up being it

Items

Health ability power and mana regen. Always a good first item, go grab another one of these first time you go back.

Get these first or second time you are back

Catalyst The Protector
Health and Mana is good for you'r survivability, also is a part of Rod of Ages

More movement speed, and reduces all tenancy effects on you

Complete you'r rod of ages now. Massive health and mana boost as well as ability power

Gives the most ability power in the game... why wouldn't you want to get this.

Scales with you'r passive and is build into Will of the Ancients

Can i hear you say spallwanp FTW. With this item you will get 60% spellwamp as well as 50 ability power. It also gives a nice buff for you'r teammates.

Even more survivability. 250 health and increases all healing effects (you'r spellwamp) by 15%. Also gives some nice CDR.

100 ablility power = nom nom nom. Also on activate you become invincible for a short amount of time but cannot move or cats spells. Use you'r ulti and then this to prevent you from dying instantly when focused by the enemy team.

Going Mid

As Morgana you will want to go mid if you get the chance.
When going mid as Morgana there is not a lot to actually worry about. You will have great survivability and be able to stay in lane for a long time. The enemy champion will have a hard time harassing you because you can just put you'r W on the caster minions and the fall back to be out of harassing range. Then when you think you can take down the other champ or harass him a but you just throw a Q and a W and watch as he is slowly burning from you Tainted Soil. As mid you should also gang whenever possible. Due to you Q its real easy for you to make good gank. Just bind them in place and unleash hell on their faces.
If the enemy team has a jungler you might want to put a ward in each of the bushes by in the river, just to make sure you don't get ganked.

Going Lane

When going lane you will want to be with a champ that is NOT dependent on farm. As with mid be sure to remember to farm caster minions with W when it is i lvl 3. Depending on who you lane with you might want to take Q before W if you could get first blood. Otherwise ward bush if enemy team has a jungler and feel free to go mid and gank if you lane partner can hold the lane while you are gone. Check the bush with Q if it stops moving before reaching max range you might just have found yourself a free kill.
