You can kick his *** all day at levels 1-5. But the moment he hits level 6 you cant fight him head on at all. He will just pop his slow, ult and proceed to run you down even if you got your E. Go Phase Rush to counter him and help other lanes
Jayce
A bad Jayce is winnable.
A good Jayce will make your life hell and you won't be able to fight back once he gets going
Malphite
Ah Malphite, the overbuffed anti-AD champion that will make your lane as fun as watching paint dry. Try to get a lead in the early game, otherwise you'll be useless and he has a free lane.
Illaoi
If you see Illaoi then you can kiss your *** goodbye. You can't fight her head on and if the enemy player has more than two braincells they won't waste any Es and just have a free lane all game. My permaban
Dr. Mundo
Mundo can be manageable at the early stages but once he gets going with the HP stacking you can't fight him 1v1. Go with anti tank items and just try to survive. Coordinate with your team to bring him down if he's badly positioned
Fiora
Fiora is just THAT champion. She excels at 1v1s and can turn the tide of a fight in a blink of an eye. This is a skill matchup where you will need to play smart and keep her from running wild. If she ults you hug the wall and run away with empowered E
Camille
Along with Fiora she's one of THOSE champions. She starts weak so you MUST get a lead to keep her from going wild. Bait her E, dodge second Q with E and counter her W with your own W. Skill matchup where the early game defines how it will play out
Darius
Darius is a pain in the *** that won't let you farm and if they're smart will hold his E so you eat lots of damage every trade. Play smart, don't let him run you down, if he pops ghost you pop yours too so he can't catch up and bait his Q before poking with yours since he will win the trade from the get go with it
Yorick
Huge pain if they're good. Keep poking him with Q and do your best to dodge his E. If he cages you jump to him with W and get away with empowered E. It goes without saying you must NOT fight him when the maiden is there. Ask for help to your jungler and take advandage of his pushing tendencies by using your R to punish
Aatrox
Skill matchup. Poke him whenever you can. dodge his first two Qs with your W and E his third. Bait out his W and dodge it at all costs. If he pops out R for an all in use your E to get away and punish him once it runs out
Cho'Gath
Cho'gath is free food in the early game. Just harass him as usual and get a good lead before he becomes a problem. With anti-tank items you should be able to punish him if he gets too cocky with his armor+hp using short trades and running circles around him
Sion
Same as Cho but with the added danger of his big damage. If they're smart they will charge Q right outside of range of your W so you eat the damage before stunning them and pop his shield to win the trade. Get a lead early on and go with the anti tank items so you can keep him in check even after early game
Rumble
HUGE pain in the *** and has as much harass as you do. Play it smart and don't underestimate his damage. Try your best to farm and punish him whenever he tries to keep you from farming. If you don't get tilted (unlike me) you should win this lane with enough skill
Mordekaiser
Many people think of Mordekaise as your counter but it's actually a skill matchup. If the enemy second picks Mordo then you know they are getting too cocky. Punish them for underestimating you!. Go for short trades and poke him through all the laning phase and ALWAYS hold on your E or he'll ult you and you're basically dead. (Pop your ghost whenever he ults you so you can kite and run circles around him until his ult runs out)
Shen
A good Shen is a complete nightmare at early stages of the game. Respect his E range and poke him until you can run him down. Don't get too cocky or he'll punish you hard for not respecting his empowered Q damage and E
Ornn
Same case as Sion except Ornn is more manageable since he's all close range. Bait his Es and run him down once you have enough damage and he has used his abilities
Sett
Many Pantheon players are too afraid of Sett but he's actually very manageable if you play smart. W him whenever he tries to force a trade with his E and proceed to punish him. Save your E for his W so he can't retaliate after a bad trade
Yasuo
Easy lane as long as you don't underestimate him. Get rid of his shield with your Q whenever he tries to farm and proceed to harass him until you get a lead. Be mindful of your wave or he'll be hard to catch and will turn the fight around with a good knockup
Urgot
Bait his E and you're good to go. He's scary at the early stages but if you keep winning the trades and get in his head you'll win the lane all game. Be mindful of his E, outrange him with your Qs, avoid his passive and you should come out on top of all trades
Hai hai, I'm just a 22 years old that loves videogames including league
I made this guide just for fun and to maybe inspire some people to try some builds they might find fun or even use to create their own playstyle!.
I play Pantheon regularly and after finding a playstyle I fell in love with I decided to share it with you so you may find yours too <3
My playstyle is all about having lots of cdr, weaving in attacks and abilities between combos and having one hell of a fight (It's like playing a hack n slash game with all the stylish combos and ability management lol). More lethality oriented Pantheon builds might be the better choice but I like having a good fight with the back and forth, if the enemy doesn't fight back then it isn't very satisfying.
General
So you may ask "Why Pantheon?". Well Pantheon is a fighter champion in league of legends that is known for being versatile. He's kind of a jack of all trades with his kit. You got cc, damage, movility, empowered buffs and defensive abilities!. In my case I love Pantheon for this very reason, even if you get counterpicked you can still bring a lot to the table and have the chance to outplay the enemy even if you're in a tough spot. This guide I made on my playstyle is all about pushing that versatility to the limit and look good while at it.
The mentality
My plan whenever I play Pantheon is to "Have one hell of a fight and give it all". This might sound cringy and all but the idea is that you should approach your enemy with the idea that you must overcome them even if the matchup is very rough. Exploit every misstep, be cunning and show them that just because they have the advantage doesn't means you can't bring them down all the same!. Just like Pantheon, Even gods will fear you because you won't go down without a fight
Final word
As an "off meta" build this is just a guide that works but won't be the creme de la creme of efficiency. It's one I absolutely enjoy and recommend to any other player that loves the thrill of a good fight tho!
It's also my first guide so any recommendations and tips are very very appreciated <3
