Nasus AP mid may sound a troll, but very far away it seems, is a reliable pick that can give more than one surprise in the mid-late. With this you can easily win champion in one lategame 1v2 or even 1v3 available whenever you have your ultimate precious.

Pros

-Have an ultimate hurtful by a high percentage of life.
-Your Q removes almost like Nasus AD thanks to Lich Bane.
Sustain-lines in the phase due to its passive.

Cons
-Very weak at early levels, especially against opponents with harassing.
-It is easier to get since you're melee focus.
-Much of your damage depends on certain objects have purchased.
