I think Nautilus is one of the best tanks in LoL.
I play him as a tank.

I start with a Doran's Shield because it gives you all you need at level 1 being a full tank.

• 120 HP
• 10 armor
• 8 HP regen per 5 seconds

The MR you have at these levels is pretty low and this will give you 45 more.
this item is a well known item for tanks because it gives you 25% less time on disables, which can help to continue fights, chases and escapes.




not much to explain on this item, it gives you 1270 HP and another 40 HP regen per 5 seconds when fully stacked.
it gives you EXTREME durability in fights, 'nuff said.
Getting this early will have your enemies ragin'.




this item gives you magic resist, movement speed and an amazing passive that grants you +0.35 health regen per second. This item will allow you to reach teamfights faster and my favorite; keep on catching people who are slower than you with your Dredge Line.




This item gives you +100 armor and a great passive that returns 30 present DMG from the enemie basic atacks. You dont buy it early, because the AD carries will not do so much DMG in early game, if you see they do, buy it early.




I explaind why you should buy this item. You have to buy another one at late game, after the enemies will do more DMG, you will need more HP, its also makes the Force of Nature




The thing about Nautilus is his EPIC cc, and when you have Rylai's Crystal Scepter you will have tons of extra cc for your attacks. It also gives you HP and some AP.

In some point of the build, you will need to sell the Doran's Shield so you will be able to buy the last item of the build.
