Thresh top lane is sometimes really OP once Dark Harvest gets stacked enough, and u can build up your E passive, get dark harvest, sheen, duskblade, and energy all built up and one shot a squishy carry (rip adc). have fun lul

sheen is good early game dmg and adds on to your one shot-ness. Thresh technically counts as a "ranged" champion so rapidfire cannon works.
